Not my best day in the trenches. Took some rest yesterday, cleared my head, and cut everything else. Right now I’m accumulating only two bags: $YEE 0x9Ac9468E7E3E1D194080827226B45d0B892C77Fd ~$6M MC $BULL 3TYgKwkE2Y3rxdw9osLRSpxpXmSC1C1oo19W9KHspump ~$4.3M MC Sold all other positions. Less noise. More conviction. Let’s see if the market rewards it.

The EU 🇪🇺demands access to Anthropic's "Mythos" LLM, which is not publicly available. They are concerned their banks run on crappy legacy software full of exploitable bugs (true), and only Mythos can save them (false). If the EU cannot access good models, it cannot fix bugs, and all the money will soon be gone (false). But the EU AI Act prevents models from being imported into the EU until the necessary compliance paperwork is done. This is exactly the scenario I warned about with overly broad regulations: in order to protect something-something, the EU took the shotgun to its own foot and pulled the trigger. Because the EU has failed to develop its own equivalent champions to the American and Chinese models, it now relies solely on imported models to keep up with productivity, including in cybersecurity. However, nothing makes sense, and it's just marketing bullshit. If you have been following LLM development for some time, you know that there is nothing special in Mythos. Dario, while still working at OpenAI, ran a similar campaign titled "GPT-2 is too powerful to be released." Security researchers have demonstrated similar flaw-finding capabilities with free Chinese models, as much security work is about harnessing, not the model itself. x.com/QuixiAI/status… "Defenders shouldn't have to wait for access to a gated model to secure their software. These vulnerabilities have been sitting in codebases for decades." So, the marketing campaign was well executed, European banks are soiling their pants. As reported by Bloomberg thenextweb.com/news/eurogroup…

@DjaniWhaleSkul the consensus energy always does something to the charts lets see if $80k actually holds or if its just miami hype

Daily Market Report #725 It’s Tuesday, the week is heating up, and Bitcoin just broke above $80K for the first time since January 31. Consensus 2026 opens in Miami today, and big economic data starts rolling in tomorrow. Oil pulled back below $100 yesterday after the proposed Iran peace plan, then climbed again after reports of new strikes near Dubai. Gold dropped to $4,536, silver to $72.79. Markets hate uncertainty more than almost any specific outcome right now. Oil remains the proxy market for everything. Interesting side story: GameStop reportedly offered $125 per share to acquire eBay. That would be one of the weirdest timeline mergers imaginable. The future Fed governor also came out warning that inflation is the most regressive tax. At the same time, after the US announced troop reductions in Germany, the German chancellor said the US is still Germany’s biggest ally. I mean, I’d probably say the same if there were still 100,000 US troops in my country. Today we get Non-Manufacturing PMI, later this week ADP and April jobs data, while around 20% of the S&P 500 reports earnings. After last week’s mixed big tech reactions, this is where we see if markets can actually hold these levels. Buffett also warned again about speculation, comparing today’s markets to gambling through zero-day options. He has always been bearish on crypto, but at the same time, it’s difficult explaining Bitcoin to someone who built their worldview decades before digital ownership even existed. Bitcoin is sitting at $80,880. We attacked $81K for the first time since January 31 after recovering from the $62K lows a few months ago. Fear & Greed is sitting at 40, while total crypto market cap is at $2.75T. Good recovery, but just a reminder: we were above $4.5T before. Saylor said he won’t buy BTC this week, which is honestly unusual at this point. Trump doubled down again on protecting self-custody for over 50 million crypto holders and signaled support for the CLARITY Act. Prediction markets now price approval odds above 60%. At the same time, NYSE is moving toward enabling tokenized securities. The tokenization narrative is slowly turning into actual regulation and infrastructure instead of just whitepapers and conference slides. Ethereum is sitting at $2,380. The Ethereum interoperability conference projected major cross-chain scaling improvements, but another discussion started around Ethereum leadership dismissing NFTs despite NFTs being arguably Ethereum’s biggest cultural success. And honestly, there’s truth in that criticism. Culture is what pushed crypto forward. Not institutions. Not some anonymous dev promising to save the world through code. NFTs brought in artists, creators, communities, brands, and retail energy. Ethereum never fully embraced that side strategically. The Ethereum Foundation should spend more time understanding the pulse of the people instead of acting above it. One of the biggest runners today is $TON, up around 25% and sitting near $1.74. Telegram officially confirmed a deeper integration with TON, replacing the Ton Foundation as the main driver and becoming the largest validator. Fees dropped nearly 6x toward almost zero, and the new slogan became “Make TON Great Again.” That’s actually a major shift. Telegram has hundreds of millions of users. If they seriously push TON again like they did during the mini-app wave in 2024, that ecosystem could get a second life very quickly. Solana is sitting at $84.77 and honestly moving like a stablecoin lately. Still, Solana ETF rumors keep building, which could become a major catalyst. We also saw more discussion around charity tokens again. I still remain skeptical around most charity narratives in crypto because they often become marketing tools first and actual charity second, but we’ll see where it goes. BNB is sitting at $626. The xStocksFi tokenized US equities platform continues expanding on BNB Chain, which is quietly one of the more serious product moves in the market. XRP is at $1.40. Between ETF discussions, Ripple infrastructure expansion, Nasdaq-linked developments, and institutional custody growth, XRP keeps stacking infrastructure wins even if the chart still moves slowly. HYPE is sitting at $42.55. HIP-4 officially launched Friday, and Hyperliquid’s permissionless prediction markets now exceed the combined value of most prediction platforms. That’s a real product shift. Polymarket and Kalshi entered the perp space, but Hyperliquid basically answered by shipping a cleaner permissionless system. At the same time, rumors around a future Polymarket token keep growing. We also had the Billions token launch yesterday, and honestly, it was a mess. Contributors and NFT holders ended up disappointed because the claiming and staking structure became overly complicated and late participants got better treatment than early supporters. Same lesson again: when something sounds too optimized, question who it’s really optimized for. Chainlink is at $9.53. PYTH is sitting around $0.05. Oracle competition remains interesting, but privacy has completely stolen the narrative recently. ZEC is at $427. XMR is sitting above $405. ZEC has been one of the strongest altcoin rebounds in the market. STRK at $0.038 is cooling off a bit after the Shinobi move, but the broader privacy narrative is clearly not slowing down. After the hacks, kidnappings, exploits, and wallet attacks, privacy is slowly becoming infrastructure instead of just ideology. TAO is back at $286. DOT at $1.24. PENGU broke above one cent and keeps running. MEGA is sitting around $0.13 after launching last week. The real question now is whether MegaETH can build a real ecosystem after the launch hype fades. One thing people are underestimating is how much institutional BTC demand is driving this market while on-chain retail participation is still relatively weak. Most people online talk about crypto every day but barely interact on-chain themselves. Another huge story: Tether bought six tons of gold in Q1. It’s crazy watching a stablecoin company slowly evolve into a global financial infrastructure player. Consensus Miami opens today with speakers like Saylor, CZ, and Arthur Hayes shaping narratives for the coming months. Also keep watching unlocks this month: PYTH unlock around $100M, roughly 37% of market cap. LayerZero unlocks approaching too. And yesterday we also saw SUI futures launch. SUI is sitting around $0.94. A lot happening under the surface again. What are you watching this week?
