If Keir Starmer has one million haters, I am all of them. If he has 100 haters, I am all of them. If he has 1 hater, I am her. If he has 0 haters, it means I have left this world. If the world is for Keir Starmer, then I am against the world.

there has been a relational incompetence possible with me because of What i can do with myself and by myself. people have treated me as so self-sufficient that when i suffer, their instinct is to just..look. and wait to see what i'll do next.

i remember about two years ago, i was in such pain after a heartbreak. over a FaceTime, i was feeling stuck pain, bracing myself, and the then friend said, "this is so interesting. i always thought you were someone who could handle/feel hard things". 😭😝

Being around people who don’t see you as a person who needs emotional support and nurturance is so draining. No matter how much they like or love you, when someone takes and takes and takes and takes but doesn’t like to give they will zap you of all your energy

@Aqua_or_Bob THIS! It’s such a yucky feeling and it’s only a matter of time before it reveals some type of resentment so the second I clock it I’m checking out before I find out :(

Men think a women having a present father means we have more respect for men and are more equipped to be married. Whole time my daddy is the first man who taught me to get my money up so I don’t have to answer to anybody.

Eid Mubarak to all those who celebrate. Wherever you are in the world, I wish you peace, joy and hope. I want to take this opportunity to thank our local mosques for supporting so many people in Islington. It is the unity of our communities that makes us stronger. Eid Mubarak!

A silly but super strict deal breaker I have is sharing food. If you are unwilling to share your food with me you need to stay far away.

Spoiled women always spoil back. That’s what the men clutching their purse & calling us gold diggers miss out on. Stingy energy does not attract abundance!

I keep saying: the crux of our religion is sincere & individualized human reason (avoiding disingenuous approaches), gratitude, & mindfulness. being in the world as much as you can while detaching from it. submitting to God & the inevitability of death not the devil. not fear.
winnie@winnie4prez

If you were to ask me the main motif of the Holy Quran, it would be: gratitude over the wondrous universe. Extreme suffering is seen as an exception to the normal, harmonious states of affairs, & largely caused by us (incl when it's a punishment) This comes up constantly tbh

This is episode 5 of Executive Function, with Jeremy Epling, Chief Product Officer at Vanta. Jeremy spent 16 years at Microsoft, then moved to GitHub when it was being run by @natfriedman. Nat told him he had 9 months to ship GitHub Actions. No discussion. Jeremy says that deadline did more for the product than any strategy doc ever could have. We talk about what it actually takes to make the jump from big tech to a startup, and what great product leadership looks like once you're scaling. Here are three of a few dozen insights from our conversation: The day you become CPO, your team stops being EPD. It's the C-Suite. Every founder he asked said the same thing. Most new CPOs don't believe it until it's too late. The CPO-CRO relationship is broken by design. One runs on salary and equity, the other on quota. You have to fix that manually or it'll quietly wreck you. Spend real time with your most influential ICs — the staff engineers nobody manages but everyone listens to. They know what's actually happening before anyone else does. I laugh when people say things like “oh you’ve travelled to so many places and you’re still so young” baaabbyyy those flights in Europe used to cost €1-10 on a good day and if I wanted luggage it still only came to about €20-60 😂😭😭
