U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) has released an update on the ongoing naval blockade of Iran, accompanied by video of U.S. Navy P-8A Poseidon 169544, as identified by @SR_Planespotter. The aircraft is assigned to Patrol Squadron 16 (VP-16), the "War Eagles," based at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Florida. According to CENTCOM, U.S. forces have redirected 30 commercial vessels, boarded two to verify compliance, and disabled two that allegedly failed to comply with blockade directives. This P-8A Poseidon is equipped with the AN/APS-154 Advanced Airborne Sensor (AAS), providing wide-area maritime and ground surveillance, as well as the Mobile User Objective System (MUOS), enabling near real-time transmission of intelligence to higher headquarters and allies. The aircraft is seen operating off the coast of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE), on July 20, 2026.

A U.S. Navy P-8 Poseidon approaches a U.S. Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker for refueling while patrolling the Middle East. The P-8 is a specialized reconnaissance aircraft that is among the many assets monitoring regional waters during America's blockade against Iran. As of July 30, CENTCOM forces have redirected 24 commercial vessels, disabled 2, and boarded 2 to ensure full compliance.

@CENTCOM Funny how the United States no longer controls the media and is now debunking facts with fictions. Truly the him that kills with a sword with surely die by the sword. The media is now the greatest weapon against the United States in this conflict with Iran.

Over the past few hours, Iranian state media have continued to report false claims by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) – three in particular. 🚫 FIRST CLAIM: The IRGC (again) claims free and open routes through the Strait of Hormuz are dangerous for commercial vessels. ✅ FACT: The immediate dangers posed to commercial vessels and their civilian crews are the IRGC’s verbal threats and attempted attacks. 🚫 SECOND CLAIM: The IRGC claims Three U.S. F-35 stealth fighters and three other aircraft were destroyed during a recent Iranian attack on an American air base. ✅ FACT: No U.S. aircraft were destroyed or damaged in recent attempted Iranian attacks. All missiles and drones were intercepted or failed to reach targeted areas. 🚫 THIRD CLAIM: Iranian state media is reporting that a commercial oil tanker, M/T Nora, has broken through the U.S. blockade. ✅ FACT: The commercial vessel has not broken through America’s steel wall blockade. More than 20 U.S. warships, hundreds of aircraft, and thousands of service members remain vigilant and continue to fully enforce the blockade.

Depends on what we are fighting for. Are we fighting the Islamic conquest underway or about to open a bigger door and start looking more like parts of Europe? Or, are we fighting for oil? If we are trying to stop Iran from nukes while making a nuke deal with the Saudi’s, then I think we need new leadership. Because they both have the same religious goals which should not and cannot be ignored when it has everything to do with their decisions on “peace agreements”.

The War Zone reports Boeing has taken another $280 million loss on the VC-25B Air Force One program, pushing the company's total losses above $3 billion under its fixed price contract with the U.S. Air Force. Boeing says the additional investment is intended to keep the program on track for the first aircraft delivery in 2028, roughly four years later than originally planned. The report also follows last week's announcement that the interim VC-25B "Bridge" aircraft, converted by L3Harris from a donated Qatari 747-8, will be removed from service for about a month to receive additional upgrades after concerns emerged about its defensive and mission capabilities. The War Zone has previously reported that the Bridge aircraft lacks some capabilities planned for the production VC-25Bs, while President Trump recently said its capabilities would be "maxed out." Separately, the Government Accountability Office (GAO) reported in June that the government's estimated acquisition cost has increased from $6.263 billion to $6.608 billion, underscoring the continued schedule delays, technical challenges, and rising costs surrounding the long-running replacement of the Air Force's aging VC-25A fleet. On Thursday, the U.S. Department of War lowered the total number of American servicemembers officially killed during the Iran War from 18 to 14, removing the four servicemembers killed during the most recent round of hostilities in the Middle East; 1st Lt. Tyler James Feehan, 25, Sgt. Angel S. Rampersad, 28, and Pvt. Isabella Gonzales, 19, who were killed last week by an Iranian ballistic missile attack in Jordan, and Sgt. Michael Emmanuel Swinton, 30, who died as a result of a controlled demolition of an Iranian one-way attack drone in Iraq. Three military officials told The New York Times that one reason behind the change was that their deaths occurred after President Trump declared a ceasefire with Iran in April.

I would never encourage any woman to pursue a job that increases the risk of death for the men around her as well as the risk of mission failure with absolutely 0 upside. The desire to do so on her part is mental illness and the "leaders" that allowed this to happen are weak, incompetent, and/or immoral. Women can do lots of things very well; none of them are the tasks associated with a combat MOS.
