Dr. Hinshaw, Alberta's Chief Medical officer, told Albertans it was "...perfectly okay to get one dose of each..." She was suggesting that you could mix & match different COVID vaccines.
This was totally negligent, and people were severely injured because of this bad medical advice.
How come she was never disciplined by the Alberta Medical Association????

@TheBreakdownAB I love that they’re sending the ministers of health and “addictions” (cuz he doesn’t care about mental health) to advocate for alberta oil.
English

“Affordability & Utilities Minister Nathan Neudorf, Health Minister Adriana LaGrange and Mental Health & Addiction Minister Dan Williams, along with three staff , are scheduled to attend the event next Thursday.”
Your tax dollars at work Alberta!

@spencerbennett1 @cspotweet They’re sending the minister of health to discuss energy tariffs?
English

@cspotweet Meeting with our American counterparts and building relationship will build unity and cooperation far more than writing angry letters threatening terrifs.

If I'd wanted to travel the world, I really should have become an MLA.
Alberta's Health Minister, Addictions Minister and Utilities Minister to attend prayer breakfast event in Washington in latest international trip.

@cspotweet “Meetings with energy and electricity executives” - but they’re sending the Minister of Health??? Bible study on our tax dollars.

Global has jumped on this report and is trying to discredit it as being written by so-called vaccine deniers. Global focuses on the backgrounds of the authors but completely avoids the fact that AHS refused to comply with requests or participate in providing information for the report. Another media smear job.

⚠️ What will you do now Premier Smith?
It's going to be interesting to see if the COVID 19 Pandemic response report makes news headlines in Alberta this week.
Back in late 2022, when I was extremely vocal about AHS' attempts to suppress the vaccine data, I actually had an hour-long Zoom call with Danielle Smith and one of her staff.
During that call, she asked me my thoughts on the idea of a COVID review pannel.
I told her the idea would not be popular amongst her own party because the findings would certainly be damning, and some of the people responsible for the bad decisions were still MLAs in her caucus and still senior bureaucrats in government. At that time, I could also feel a certain COVID fatigue amongst the populace. Many just wanted to move on.
Note: Her options would have been straight forward if COVID had all happened under an NDP government.
I suggested that one way to distance herself from the findings was to formally justify the review as "good governance". Every incident should be reviewed for lessons learned, and COVID was no different.
This is something we do in the engineering world, even when a project is highly successful. We want to learn what worked, what didn't, and what we can do differently next time.
I remember her asking me very specifically "What happens if the panel finds people were negligent? " I told her, "Then you turn the evidence over to the cops and let them investigate." (naive, I know)
A few months later I actually had a coffee meeting with Dr. Gary Davidson in Airdrie, so she took some of my advice. Unfortunately, the panel's mandate was not made public enough, and didn't include subpoena powers (but that's a different issue).
So here we are, nearly 2 years later. The panel has found that UCP politicians, senior bureaucrats, professional colleges, doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and more, were all negligent, even malfeasant.
So what should Danielle do?
What do you want to see?

English

@Martyupnorth_2 @TheBreakdownAB - Do you think any one can get an hour long zoom meeting with the Premier, or just right wing nuts?
English

@KenTurner01 That was probably Justin wanting to get in on the "action". 😂

@ABDanielleSmith Great. I’m sure none of them are sexual predators and they’re all qualified to practice medicine according to our standards. Yes. Great news.

Great news!
Alberta is breaking records in health care! With 12,212 physicians now registered to practice—more than ever before—we’re continuing to train, hire, and attract doctors to serve patients. In 2024 alone, we added 474 physicians, marking one of the highest years for growth in over a decade.

English

@ABDanielleSmith How. Many. Are. Actually. Practicing????
And how many do we actually NEED???

"I, Donald John Trump, do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. So help me God."
And with those simple, yet powerful words, Trumps becomes leaders of the most powerful nation on Earth.
God speed President Trump.

English

I was chocked up listening to trump's inauguration speech.
Democracy, capitalism, freedom and power to the people are the greatest forces on Earth. The list of American accomplishments and contributions to the planet during the last 249 years is absolutely impressive.
Do people get left behind, even in a awesome system like theirs? Yes.
Is there a better system? No. I think the events of the last 20 years showed that.
The radicals, with their bad ideology, tried and failed to "build back better". Trump spoke directly at the UN and the WEF. "A sovereign, independent USA is back"
It's too bad that the real march towards progress took a 20 year hiatus, but I'm confident the Americans will catch up.
And I pray to God that their spirit spills over into our country.

English

@brianlilley I think he's going to do great things this time around.

In Canada, police are called if I get close to a Liberal. In America, I can walk right into Joe Biden's White House and ask questions. Why are Canadian Liberals such pussies?
Keean Bexte@TheRealKeean
Met @tedcruz today. Let's hope this Alberta boy can keep tariffs off Albertan energy.

Looks like one adult is in charge.
Rebel News@RebelNewsOnline
Premier Smith warns Canada will face a "national unity crisis" if the Liberals follow through on Foreign Affairs Minister Mélanie Joly's threat to cut off the US from Alberta's oil and gas. "Oil and gas is owned by the provinces, and we won't stand for that," she says.
English

@JSJamato Attacks you? You made ignorant, blatantly false allegations about the premier!!
English

I stand corrected. It's a couch, not a bed, a staffer for the premier confirms (before attacking me.)
That's good to know. I did try to confirm her location earlier, but unfortunately her press secretary would not even say what state, or country, she's now in. #ableg
Becca Polak@BeccaPolakSays
She’s sitting on a couch. Sean, if you ever made an effort to gather accurate information, you might actually become a half-decent journalist. Your so-called ‘reporting’ is nothing more than biased commentary, with no attempt at fairness or balance.
English

@echipiuk Joly is not only drunk but severely un educated on what the federal government can and can’t do hence the reason Smith has had them in court several times and enforcing the sovereignty act . I like Smith a lot . Tough cookie

@theLUCASTDS @roscoebombosco @truckdriverpleb @Morgan_C_Ross Does it tell the citizenship of the parents on the birth certificate of a child who’s adopted?
English

@roscoebombosco @yegkrn @truckdriverpleb @Morgan_C_Ross It’s a reference to him being adopted but a super confusing one. People who are adopted generally have birth certificates
