The Australia shooting videos are shocking but don't get it twisted. If they were in America, they'd have access to higher-powered guns, and if the response time was that slow, they would have fired hundreds of rounds and likely killed 50+ people. You can't stop every shooting but limiting the types of guns can help save lives. That's why you don't see an unarmed American stopping someone in tactical gear with an AR-15. But a random guy stopped one of the shooters here because he actually stood a chance by being a hero.
