Definitely make sense. In corporate world when employees does mistakes then the company who employed them get massive fines. For example a recent case of PWC get fined by Australia Government for AI generated reports. The responsibility lies with account holder, not the one writing

Hesson probably wants Talat because the WC is being held in SA where his few overs could come handy, but honestly he is extremely mediocre. It's better to have a proper batter or bowler in his place. He is a waste of space at number 7 anyway.

The best 3 batsmen in Pakistan are Abdullah Shafique, Babar Azam and Saud Shakeel. Playing any ODI/test without them is absolutely criminal.
