i forgot to mention ONE THING.. about @RevenueCat they pay me DAILY for my iOS mobile app (I DON’T HAVE TO WAIT 45 DAYS) i literally get 80% of my apple revenue the SAME DAY i earned it 😭 the catch: i pay a 2.5% fee on the money would you guys pay that for daily payouts?

RevenueCat vs. Superwall fuck it I’ll explain the difference basically: revenuecat is your WIFE stable + lots of history, and you trust her you have decent sex (paywall targeting/experiments) but you know you can rely on her to pick up the kids and make you dinner (reliable data, no outages) superwall is your FUCKBUDDY more exciting + fun, but unpredictable crazy sex (paywall targeting/experiments) but her cooking is mid and she sometimes ghosts you (outages/bugs) my advice: if you are just getting started, go with the fuckbuddy. get married later. superwall’s whole UI will handhold you to what matters early on - today’s sales, paywall view rate, a/b tests, etc. these are most important when you’re getting started but when you outgrow the juvenile (but necessary) hookup phase… when you have meaningful MRR, thousands of subscribers, MMP setup, etc. you must take yourself seriously and get married revenuecat’s UI will handhold you to what matters most as a big app - subscription states, normalized revenue, customer cohorts, etc. and it’s just more reliable (crucial if you run an MMP) also, you can marry revenuecat and make superwall your mistress. this is what i do. and i currently spend most of my time with superwall because revenuecat confuses me notes: this whole post is haram used for illustrative purposes only do not cheat on your spouse i don’t condone adultery or casual sex also i respect tf out of women and acknowledge husband/lover could work here just as much as wife/mistress equalitymaxx additionally: most of what i said is with respect to the *UIs* of revenuecat and superwall you can run great paywall targeting/experiments in revenuecat and also get solid revenue data visualizations in superwall but the way they prioritize these in the UI has a real impact on how you use these products. and therefore, how you approach monetization choose wisely

f in the chat just got hit with the classic 4.3 spam rejection. which is wild because even though my app is a tracker, this is a sub niche where there isnt many apps i changed the name of the app and wrote an appeal. lets see how it goes

my app did $1.5k+ in its first 18 days. zero ads. caught a retention leak before going all in, 3 critical bugs i'd never have seen on my own phone. i granted everything during dev. some real users haven't. shipping the fixes this week. early bugs are the cheapest data you'll ever get. find them before you scale.

nosso maior problema de churn com pix é que o cara nao tem saldo em conta no dia do débito, acaba que o banco central nao consegue debitar e a assinatura cancela nosso churn em cartao é de 20%, no pix 35% e é algo natural, se vc for ver a maioria das pessoas nao deixa dinheiro parado em conta corrente dando bobeira, ou move pra investimento (caixinhas) é complicado

Trial que pede cartão de crédito converte cerca de 31.4% Trial sem cartão converte 8.9% Dado do Chartmogul de 2026 no mercado americano com 200 produtos analisados. Diferença de mais de 3X. Parece óbvio: Pede cartão, só entra quem tem intenção real de pagar, mas tem um custo escondido. Pedir cartão reduz signup. Você converte mais trial em pagante, mas tem menos trial para converter. Cenário A (Sem cartão): 1.000 visitantes → 85 trials → 7.5 pagantes (8.9% de conversão) Cenário B (com cartão): 1.000 visitantes → 30 trials → 9.4 pagantes (31.4% conversão) Eu sempre falo que freemium é bem menos efetivo que aquilo que se prega, tem aí mais um indício e não é o único. Lógico, isso é dado US, numa economia diferente, se você roda Brasil precisa considerar isso e o PIX que mesmo no "recorrente" tem uma dinâmica bem diferente em relação aos pagamentos mensais. Na prática tenho visto em todos os clientes que clientes de PIX recorrente tem maior churn que os clientes de cartão. Isso significa que pedir cartão no trial é a melhor opção? Possivelmente. Isso significa que PIX recorrente não presta? Não, inclusive dependendo do ICP você nem tenha essa alternativa de só trabalhar de cartão. Significa que você não deve pensar qual modelo converte mais, mas qual modelo atrai e retém o ICP certo.

wow. just talked to a guy who had his first $80,000 month with his iOS app launched ~12 months ago he took a VERY popular app idea here in the US and localized to a country with only 10M population then, he brought on a very popular influencer/celeb in that country. they promoted his app and allowed him to run ads much cheaper than the competition but it wasn't a typical influencer deal. it was an equity/rev share deal! genius. i think this will become a huge trend (partnering with influencers/celebs on rev share)
