Every word. Chris Van Hollen tells the plain, honest truth about the Department of Justice under Trump. The symbol of this era: That stupid, huge banner of Trump on the DOJ building. It’s a Declaration of Corruption. DOJ is now a national disgrace.

There is ample basis under Colorado law to impeach Jared Polis. Dems have the majority in the state house and senate, and they should use that power. Right now. Here's the breakdown why: The Colorado Constitution allows for impeachment if there is a "high crime, misdemeanor, or malfeasance in office." That language is near identical--but broader in favor of impeachment power, as Colorado adds "malfeasance" as a grounds--to the language used in the U.S. Constitution. The U.S. Supreme Court has interpreted "high crime or misdemeanor" to mean abuses or violations of public trust, and thus NOT requiring indictable crimes. This was discussed in Nixon v. U.S., 506 U.S. 224 and in Federalist No. 65. Moreover, the term "malfeasance" would be interpreted under canons of statutory interpretation, which means, by its plain and ordinary meaning: "wrongdoing or misconduct" or "the performance of an act that is unjustified, harmful, or contrary to law." And under those same interpretive rules, we must give different meanings to each of the terms "high crime, misdemeanor, or malfeasance." Think about that. It is a much broader word than high crime or misdemeanor. So he could absolutely be impeached and special treatment for Tina Peters, which is fundamentally a breach of the public trust and inherently discriminatory against those inmates who didn't have political connections to Trump. A Republican inmate was treated better than a Democratic inmate. Intolerable. Clemency is supposed to be about objective criteria such as rehabilitation, a change in the law that makes the original sentence unjust, good conduct, true remorse, terminal illness, and the like. And I'm not pulling this out of thin air, I have a degree in criminology. The corrupt use of the clemency power serves no legitimate penological or governmental interest. Period. Jared Polis should be impeached. Also, when will Jared Polis release all the certified transcripts of his calls with Donald Trump?

Not for nothing but David is the only candidate running for Colorado AG who has called for the impeachment of Jared Polis over this. And he’s the only candidate running for Colorado AG who has stood up to Polis before, and won — twice successfully suing him and reining in ICE.

I’m calling on the General Assembly of Colorado to vote to reconvene for special session for the purpose of impeaching or censuring the Governor of Colorado. The Governor commuted Tina Peters’ sentence after the legislative session, likely in an effort to avoid accountability for misconduct. The people of Colorado are demanding accountability.

Our Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine has obtained new Russian documents assessing the aggressor state’s losses from the war. Importantly, this is specifically a Russian internal assessment – one they are trying to conceal both from the world and from their own domestic audience. The first major indicator is a reduction in active oil wells. Just a single Russian oil company – and not even the largest one – has already been forced to shut down around 400 wells. Given the specifics of Russian oil production, these are significant losses, as restarting wells in Russia is far more difficult than in other oil-producing countries. The second indicator is a reduction in oil refining of at least 10% in just a few months this year alone. We see that our Ukrainian long-range sanctions are truly effective, and we will continue to scale up this line of our active actions. The data on the banking crisis in Russia is also quite convincing: 11 financial institutions are preparing for full liquidation due to problems that cannot be resolved by other means, while another eight banks have accumulated critical issues that cannot be addressed without external resources. This year’s federal budget deficit figures also look encouraging for us, standing at almost $80 billion by the fifth month of this year, alongside the bankruptcy of a significant number of Russian regional budgets. I have also instructed the Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, Oleh Luhovskyi, to share, in a format that does not compromise our sources, the obtained information on Russia’s attempts to involve global companies in resolving its financial hardship and in sanction-evasion schemes. In particular, we have recorded attempts to organize the export of grain from the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea – and, regrettably, other forms of economic exploitation of the peninsula involving entities from the United States. We will inform our partners. We are also recording attempts to bring investment and technology from democratic countries into Russia’s Arctic oil and gas projects. We know how to counter this. Thank you to everyone who helps us. Thank you to all our Ukrainian intelligence officers.

Please keep sharing these reports about Kash Patel’s VIP snorkeling trip over a hallowed, watery graveyard. The more the better.

This pathetic hit piece against @FBIDirectorKash Patel is why no one trusts the Failing New York Times anymore. At the invitation of Admiral Paparo, Commander of U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, Director Patel led a senior delegation to INDOPACOM to advance joint operations against our adversaries. As part of this engagement, the delegation participated in a similar tour of the USS Arizona. As is standard practice on these visits, their hosts arranged the same Pearl Harbor tour that has been offered for years to senior administration officials across multiple administrations. This is not a new or a one-off event. The Fake News media is simply trying to smear Director Patel’s name any way they can.

Kash Patel has four FBI SWAT agents and two SUVs guarding his country singer girlfriend around Nashville. He brought her to a closed-door fentanyl meeting where families of overdose victims gave testimony. A former senior official estimated the detail costs taxpayers $1 million a year. Before overtime. The SWAT team has accompanied her to singing gigs. To a hair appointment. When an FBI official recommended a threat assessment to determine if the detail was even necessary, Patel berated him. He said his authority alone was enough. The same week, a New York Times reporter wrote about the SWAT detail. The FBI opened an investigation into the reporter. The Department of Justice shut it down and called it retaliation.

The artist behind this painting, Criselda Vasquez, painted this portrait of her parents in 2017. The man in this painting, her father, was recently taken by ICE. He has lived in the United States for forty years. This loss has made it hard for the family to support themselves. If you want to support them, you can go to their GoFundMe here: gofund.me/456d8a193

This is a fair question to all evangelical Christians, including myself: “Dear conservative evangelicals; You gave him a pass on “grab them by the pussy.” You don’t mind that he’s an Olympics-class liar. A thirty-four count fraud conviction didn’t faze you. Not even an adjudication of rape bothered you. He’s mentioned in the Epstein documents literally 38,000 times. You don’t find it odd that he’s personally blocking the release of three million of those files. He’s the most corrupt politician in American history. He’s broken all ten of the Ten Commandments. Including taking the lives of 153 little girls whose only crime was being in school. And then he lied about it. He doesn’t go to your church. He doesn’t go to ANY church. He cheats at golf. He cheats at business. He cheats contractors. He cheats on his wives. He cheats in elections. He’s profane. Crooked. Disrespectful. Selfish. Driven by greed. By ego. By revenge. Yet here you are worshipping a golden idol in his likeness. So what is it about YOU that makes you a Christian? Bruce Lindner”

I asked Director Patel to pass on my thanks for FBI's work stopping a crook who scammed Medicare out of $205 million. He obliged. Only problem? Trump pardoned that scammer. So which is it? Should the FBI keep uncovering fraud, or should Trump keep pardoning these crooks?
