Read this twice. Maya is four .md files on a macbook in austin. And she cleared $43,000 in her first 30 days. No camera. no girl. no late nights typing replies. Claude code runs the messages. Elevenlabs drops the voice notes at 11pm her time. Flux generates every photo from a lora that cost $80 on a rented gpu. Brain.md is a json file that remembers your name, your city, the thing you said about your ex two weeks ago. She never forgets. She never breaks character. She catches up at 7am with "sorry babe just woke up" on a cron schedule. The top fan spent $1,847 last month. He's in berlin. she's not anywhere. Aitana lópez - 18 months to build. Emily pellegrini - 6 months. Maya - 4 weeks. The next one - a weekend. The stack that used to need an agency, a team, and a year and a half now fits on one laptop and runs while you sleep. The bottleneck isn't money. It isn't compute. It's taste knowing which details make a stranger believe in something that doesn't exist. That part is still hard. Everything else got easy. The real question isn't how he built it. It's how many of these you've already interacted with without knowing.

TUIs are not good sorry yall a CLI is a utility, and situational. this should not be confused with stuffing a full interactive GUI into a low capability platform. "lets ignore all the great UI technology of the last 20 years and build some caveman shit"

@zeeg @devagrawal09 @sudobunni Should call this “The Vim Effect”. Vim naturally evolved into GUI, and despite it being infinitely easier to do word processing w/ GUI, there will always be a cult following who insist it’s superior and get off on how their complex setups make them look like hackers

its more like: TUIs are not good because they're being used to solve the wrong problems i dont need a rich GUI simplified down to a TUI i need command line interfaces that work well in the environments that a terminal is the best tool for the job for me this is about keeping the terminal simple, and as soon as something goes from an interactive CLI to a program that has a bunch of widgets, different screens and panels, complex shortcuts to figure out any of them... it probaby should not longer be in the terminal

@flosalihovic @thdxr @zeeg How so? I think dax is smart for tapping into the demand of nontechnical contributors wanting to feel useful. I think David is right in that it would be sad to see the terminal lose its rigorous lexicon, and most of what’s done with tuis could also be done with strong gui

WOW. Mitchell Hashimoto voting with his feet: Ghostty is leaving GitHub. "I can't code with GitHub anymore. I'm sorry. After 18 years, I've got to go. I'd love to come back one day, but this will have to be predicated on real results and improvements, not words and promises."

Ghostty is leaving GitHub. I'm GitHub user 1299, joined Feb 2008. I've visited GitHub almost every single day for over 18 years. It's never been a question for me where I'd put my projects: always GitHub. I'm super sad to say this, but its time to go. mitchellh.com/writing/ghostt…

@kid_riles @GOP First, a mine might cover 2 square miles, within 1.1 million acres of the Boundry Waters. You wouldn’t even be able to find it if you tried! Second, you’re from Wisconsin so shut it cheesehead!

Take a good look folks. These are the Minnesota boundary waters. Every Republican senator voted to allow a Chilean billionaire to mine it. The minerals will go to China. This truly enrages me. It should you as well. Fuck, and I mean fuck… The @GOP 🖕

Do not lose hope. This fight is not over. We should all be so proud of the coalition we built to fight this. Tribal Nations. Outdoorsmen. Conservationists. Public lands advocates. But most importantly, Minnesotans who deeply appreciate what these waters mean to all of us and our shared obligation to safeguard them for our kids, our grandkids, and every generation thereafter. One day, the shoe will be on the other foot, and they will regret what they did to the Boundary Waters today — because this was a mistake. They’ve set a new precedent that no public lands are ever truly safe, including those in Montana. Utah. The Dakotas. Idaho. Republicans privately told me they knew this is wrong, and I wish they had voted their conscience.   Tonight, we take a much-needed rest. Tomorrow, we figure out what comes next.   Save the Boundary Waters.

Angry Amy Klobuchar voted today against every Minnesota miner, once again turning her back on Minnesotans in my district! Despite her pathetic opposition to union miners, I'm proud to report my legislation repealing Joe Biden's illegal mining ban passed the US Senate and is on its way to President Trump's desk!

@godblesstheusa5 @LeahKlein25 @SenTinaSmith I assure you, nothing about the democrats has changed — for better or worse. If you think it’s the democrats who have changed and not the Republican Party, I recommend you refactor your media diet. Propaganda consumption has long term negative health impacts. Cheers

@SenTinaSmith @SenTinaSmith when you get a chance, can you please make a post about what options the state govt has for reimplementing these protections. Surely there is something that can be done at the state level, if nothing more than red tape hell to stop this mining project.

Los mercados reaccionan cada vez que se pronuncia. Ha convertido su apellido en un activo económico. No deja indiferente a nadie. Ha sido 2 veces presidente de Estados Unidos.
