Skye is a 10 year old female Border Collie, she needs a new home as sadly her previous owner passed away. Skye is good with kids and other dogs. She is use to older kids.
We don't have a lot of information other than what we got from the family.
Skye eats wet food and has another bowl of kibble she eats from during the day. She is fully house trained and can be left on her own if you need to go out.
She loves getting a treat and will sit nice.
She will sleep in her own bed but also on the floor if its nice and cool.
Skye travels well in the car and can pull on the lead if she needs the toilet.
She would be great in a home where she can relax and enjoy her humans!
For more information or to offer Skye a new home please email info@help2rehome.com
If you can’t help, please consider sharing Skye’s appeal to give her the best chance to find a new home.

Despite a clear High Court order and a signed undertaking from the DC and LWMC, the slaughter continues under the cover of night.
We are on the ground, holding the line with the little resources that we have. They have the guns; we have the law. They have the night; we have the truth.
We will not stop. We will not yield. Not until the last breath in our bodies. ⚖️🚫🐕
**LAHORE:** Be our eyes tonight. Document every vehicle and every violation. The court gave us the "liberty for contempt"—now let's give them the evidence.

Cookie is the dog we most need to find a home for. She has been struggling back at the rescue 😢
Cookie has separation anxiety having been with her mum all her life. Our behaviourist can help with a training plan for this, but she needs someone home most of the time.
She is such a lovely dog, a sweet, needy staffy who only came into our care because her mum had dementia. We need to make her world stable and whole again 🙏

Miyako has spent over fifty years in solitary confinement in a tiny enclosure in Utsunomiya, Japan. Since she was brought to Japan aged 6 months, she has never had another elephant as a companion. Sign this petition to retire Miyako to a sanctuary. zurl.co/pwj0A

Red squirrels 'close to extinction' in England @BBCNews
Hard to believe that our beloved red squirrel is close to extinction and could disappear in 25yrs!
It isn't enough that they "cling on" to life across Cumbria, Northumberland and North Pennines
We have a duty to our children to save and nurture fellow species

Our new Ammonia Map shows the shocking scale of pollution from UK chicken and pig factory farms. This air pollution travels far beyond farms, harming animals, people, and nature.

These are not just old saddles gathering dust in a forgotten corner of history.
Look closer.
Each one once rested on the back of a living, breathing animal that never asked to be there. A horse that knew nothing of Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, or the frozen hell that was Stalingrad. A horse that simply followed, because that is what horses do. They trust. They serve. They endure.
Romanian cavalrymen rode these animals into one of the most savage battles ever fought by human hands. The temperatures dropped to minus 40. The ground turned to iron. Men wept and horses collapsed, and the war kept moving anyway.
More than 6 million horses served on the Eastern Front during World War II. They hauled artillery through blizzards. They carried the wounded across open ground under fire. They pressed forward across frozen steppes until their legs simply gave out beneath them.
And when they fell, nobody came.
No burial. No name. No record. They were left exactly where they dropped, swallowed by snow and silence.
This photograph feels like the cemetery they never received. Every worn saddle is a nameless tombstone for a soul that once ran free, once breathed clouds of steam into the winter air, once gave everything it had to a war it never understood.
We remember the generals. We remember the battles. We carve names into stone walls.
But the horses? They got nothing.
Until now. Remember them.
