Ως δημοτική αρχή της πόλης έχουμε αποδείξει την ενεργή αντίθεση μας στη βία και τον ρατσισμό και δε δεχόμαστε μαθήματα δημοκρατίας, από όσους σκοτώνουν αμάχους και παιδιά στις ουρές των συσσιτίων, απ΄ όσους οδηγούν στον θάνατο καθημερινά δεκάδες ανθρώπους στη Γάζα, από βόμβες, πείνα και δίψα. Προκαλεί αποτροπιασμό η επικέντρωση του κ. Πρέσβη μόνο στα γκραφίτι (που προφανώς σβήνονται), την ώρα που στη Γάζα διεξάγεται μια πρωτοφανής γενοκτονία. Να πληροφορήσω επίσης τον κ. Πρέσβη ότι τον τελευταίο χρόνο αυξήθηκε πάνω από 90% ο αριθμός των Ισραηλινών στους οποίους χορηγήθηκε ελληνική Golden Visa.

Faced with an aggressive and revisionist Russia that continues to destabilize our borders, Europe must rearm itself. Over the past two days at the NATO Summit, we have acknowledged this imperative. Among European allies, we committed to stepping up our defense efforts and, by doing so, to strengthening the European pillar of NATO. These defense efforts are a responsibility we owe to ourselves — for our security, our sovereignty, and our independence. In France, we did not wait for this summit to take action: by the end of our two military programming laws, our defense budget will have grown from €32 billion to over €60 billion. Ukraine, which has been fighting the Russian aggressor for more than three years, must also remain our priority. Because what is at stake in Ukraine directly affects the security of our entire continent. I conveyed this to all my counterparts and reaffirmed it to President Zelensky: we will continue to support Ukraine for as long as it takes.
