Proud of what the team built. This is what a product process looks like when research actually drives execution, from discovery to GTM to live product. We're just getting started.

Phase 3 - Launch (March, EthCC Cannes) The team delivered. @iExec Confidential Token is live since @EthCC. Wrap any ERC-20 → hidden balances, selective disclosure, full DeFi composability. No rewrites. No ecosystem migration. This is the infrastructure to bring the $100T in tokenized assets on-chain.

Institutional wave is here → Big push on RWAs, private credit, on-chain vaults, stablecoin payments & neobanks. MiCA seen as a strong European tailwind. Ethereum maturing fast → Shifting from hype playground to serious financial infrastructure layer. Honestly, not a big fan of the @ethereumfndn presentation focusing on private wallets using Railgun felt a bit strange to spotlight just one privacy solution (or did I miss something?). AI × Crypto everywhere → Agentic AI for payments/finance, dev tools, and better UX. Vitalik and others flagged major security/privacy risks but see real utility emerging.

I had a blast explaining how did we build the confidential token at @iEx_ec , why did we build it and for whom - Institutionals and RWA who need confidentiality + selective disclosure to get access to on-demand auditability in order to leverage blockchain for instant settlement, new market shares and 24/7.

DeFi needs a new growth engine. That engine is institutional DeFi, and the clearest entry point is RWAs. The next wave of growth will not come from recycling the same on-chain capital across the same protocols. It will come from bringing much larger pools of capital on-chain: funds, credit products, treasury assets, private market instruments, and institutional balance sheets. That is where the opportunity sits.
