Yes, yes, yes, and yes. It’s been happening forever especially over the last 26 years. There’s the human intelligence infiltration (trusted insider threat) factor and the cyber threat intelligence infiltration and collection factor.. Sometimes they do both from multiple angles. If they want your information the missions don’t stop until they get it. All you can do is prepare/protect/detect/respond as quickly as possible to limit damage. As a professional I helped govt/mil/public companies combat these specific problems for over 20 years.
