First - all requests were NOT unsuccessful. There were social media posts yesterday indicating otherwise. Second, we do absolutely attempt to prioritize fans without tickets. It isn’t perfect - cannot be - if a family of 4 has 4 different accounts (for example). Finally, if you have account info where they scored tickets despite having them already, share that here.

Hi - first off, we do Request instead of drops on site/map to prevent bots. Bots are faster than fans, Request prevents that. Second, we filter out bad actors that spam Request. Also filter out possible bot submissions. We also deprioritize those that already have tickets. IMPORTANT - This cannot be 100% guaranteed because people may have family/spouse accounts with existing tickets, we cannot stop that, nor can we know that always. Finally, whatever is remaining is allocated by honoring fan preference (on prices, section) as best as we can. I hope this helps.

A large batch of Unsuccessful updates regarding the ticket requests have been sent out. I know this isn’t a solution for everyone but resale prices are always expected to drop as shows get closer. Ticketmaster resale & stubhub are the most trustable with fan guarantees in place should you run into issues at the door 🩵 I’m so sorry to any receiving the upsetting news! #eternalsunshinetour

just a few questions i have been left with: 1) Since queue position is not random, how is queue position determined? What is the process of choosing where each account gets put in the queue? 2) Is the algorithm set in stone, meaning if you get a high queue number once, you will be unsuccessful in every show you attempt to get tickets for? 3) If accounts are flagged to be at the end of the queue, why are fans not informed of this and not provided a reason why/given an opportunity to provide evidence they are a real person/fan to gain access to future sales? 4) If accounts are flagged for later queue positions after the waiting room in the initial sales, how does this impact their chances of second chance tickets during the request period after resale tickets are cancelled? I.e. do the same accounts have poor chances of getting tickets during both the initial sale and ticket request sales?

I appreciate this feedback. I don’t know where this notion that queue positions are random came from. I have never said it, and I have asked internally and cannot find it written in help content etc. With that said, I do understand where you are coming from. Would it be possible for you to DM me your account email as well as your mom‘s? Would like to investigate internally.
