That's a huge issue with the "just get a second job" mentality.

things i’ve gotten as a part timer at UPS: - covid - broken, permanently chipped knuckle bone - harassed, sexually & generally - repeated exposure to disgusting & dangerous materials what i’ve never gotten at UPS: - wages as high as $20/hr - an annual raise

@LouSwole @Teamsters Maybe "part timers don't vote" should be looked at as a problem to find ways to solve rather than just a given that will never change? What do you think would make part timers want to vote?

@Teamsters So the contract is being held up over part time pay? That's all fine and dandy, but part timers don't vote... You know who does vote... full timers... So if these 20 and 25 year pensions don't get better, we'll be voting no regardless...

@UPS So where are my wage increases and cost of living adjustments? Not counting market rate adjustments which can be taken away at any time and put me back at $16 or whatever.
