Did u know that Samsung banned use of ChatGPT in 2023 because their employees accidentally leaked sensitive data via ChatGPT? It is not just about employees being careless. The AI platforms themselves have had security issues : ▫️ChatGPT had a Redis bug in March 2023 that exposed the chat history titles and some payment information of other users ▫️AI-powered application for enhancing images exposed users' sensitive photos due to hardcoded cloud credentials in the application's binary And to fix all these issues, here comes @zama_fhe's FHE revolutionary tech that lets users to use AI without ever exposing their data, not to even the AI model itself. Let's understand this with an example - 1/ Google search without Zama's FHE : You search a question like this "What is @SentientAGI?", your request hit google server and then google send you the response like this : "Sentient AGI refers to a blockchain-based project and foundation called Sentient, which is working to develop and decentralize Artificial General Intelligence" But in this case, Google knows what u have searched and what response it sent to u. 2/ Google search with Zama's FHE : You search the same question, it hits the google server in encrypted format and google send u the answer as well in encrypted format. Only u can decrypt the answer. In this case, only you know what question u have asked and what response google sent back to u, not even Google knows the question or answers what it sent to u. They only know that a request hit our server from this IP at X time, that't it, nothing else. For years, we had to choose between privacy and convenience, between security and functionality, between protection and progress. We had only one choice between them but Zama's FHE technology let us choose both privacy as well as convenience, securtiy as well as functionality, protection as well as progress. Zama is moving towards a future with HTTPZ, a new internet protocol where everything is encrypted end to end, making privacy guaranteed by design in the internet itself.
