My very first Steam PLAYTEST ever 🤩😱 So excited!! I'm hoping for some people to sign up and tell me what they think 🙃

@Tonivisualgod I've never tried Unreal Engine. It's said to be the most complex and difficult engine, which is why I'm afraid to use it.

@sashadyak This rocks already, really captured that 2D toony animation style!
English

Added some basic cooperation between characters.
It seems really simple, but it actually required quite a lot of work under the hood to keep the core architecture maintainable and easy to extend.

@estepixel I'm glad it's translating - still a bit goofy in some places lmao

@zackontopx Also very nice generation! Looking more organic already.

More organic plant procedural generation for my gardening game. Still early, but getting some promising results. 😀🌱 Using a bunch of procedural generation algorithms and plant-specific physics weights.
If anyone is interested, let me know; happy to share how this was done.

@estepixel Thanks Sir Pixel! Have been exploring using actual rope physics also. Getting some interesting results.

Meet String of Pearls 🌿
A new plant for my cozy gardening and breeding sim. Grow it from the soil, watch its weighted vines cascade over the pot, then breed new forms for your living collection.

Built a procedural botany tech demo with p5.js + WebGL 🌱
Each seed grows a unique low-poly plant using selectable stem algorithms, curved leaves, blooming flowers, gravity, wind, weighted stems, studio lighting, and GPU post-processing.

@zackontopx ooh... tactile book physics… which page curl still feels juiciest?

@TheGamesDet The garden is learning to draw itself. 🌱A new Seedfolk tech demo: seeded botany emerging stroke by stroke as a living field study. No sprites. No pre-baked animation. Just a tiny genome rendered live. #GenerativeArt #CreativeCoding #ProceduralArt #IndieGameDev

Seedfolk 🌱a cozy game about encouragement. Tend impossible plants that reveal what can't be seen, and help twelve doubting discoverers remember the thing they once found.
Clip: our living-world shaders, reading a plant in real time.
(Also, your post is basically our game's thesis. Keep going, everyone. <3)

Hey indie devs, it's #WishlistWednesday - show me your games below!
And also, I just want to say you're all doing a great job. Making games is not easy, but the fact that you are chasing the dream at all is something you should be proud of. Keep going! <3

@UnityCodeMonkey Mate, your educational game dev content has always been top-tier. I really appreciate you and your mission. I learned Unity and MonoScript from your old YouTube videos. The GOAT

Nighttime research in Seedfolk 🌙
Pull open the Victorian desk drawer, retrieve your field journal, and study discoveries by flickering oil lamp. I’ve been refining the page-curl physics so the book feels like a real object resting on the desk.
