For the last 2 years I’ve been obsessed with solving one problem in AI: Reliability. How do we build systems that don’t just generate plausible language… but can actually reason through real-world constraints and return grounded, correct outcomes? I believe the missing piece is architecture. Today I’m sharing the Tama Engine.

When I read posts about people complaining that LLMs did some mistake and saying it cannot be trusted to me it reads like this. “Ow! fuck this knife fucking cut me. Now I’m bleeding. It’s this knife’s fucking fault, it cannot be trusted.”

There is a new cache mode “explicit” which lets you decide breakpoint for your prompts. Don’t cache the user thread messages only the “system” part that governs your agents.

PSA if you’re switching to GPT 5.6 for your application be careful with the new cache write cost it’s very high. You need to rethink your caching strategy with explicit mode marking breakpoint for when caching stops otherwise you will pay a high cost.
