In honor of Ariel Bibas, the "Kimit Jerusalem" butterfly has been renamed "Kimit Ariel", according to the Israeli naming society. "We thought that this was the most fitting of all the orange butterflies in Israel," they wrote to Yarden Bibas. This specific orange butterfly was chosen because it previously held the name "Orange Jerusalem," and Ariel is recognized as one of the 70 names for Jerusalem, according to Kveller 🎗️

Three years ago, I was pretty agnostic on antisemitism. I thought it was exaggerated. Until I made a few mildly pro-Israel statements and the replies hit like a kick in the teeth.

Our world models are action conditioned, and hence causal. The concept of world model for planning goes back to the 1950s in optimal control (before I was born). I didn't just discover it. But training action-conditioned world models from sensory inputs (like video) requires new techniques.

This is circulating on Hezbollah social media about MI attack on synagogue: A young man from the Lebanese town of Mashghara named Ayman Ghazali, brother of “martyrs” Qasim and Ibrahim. Ayman is an expatriate in the U.S. He opened fire a short while ago on Israelis in America in revenge for the “martyrdom” of his brothers and was “martyred” after “killing 10 Zionists.”

Himmelman's description of @TuckerCarlson's pathology would remain incomplete without this video by a comedian Ami Kozak, proving that parody is the most effective disinfectant against Zionophobia. youtube.com/watch?v=6SJzae… @AkaLazarus @YKleinHalevi @peterhimmelman @GadiTaub1 @GadSaad
