@FlashbangJuris @SgtBlitz_Fi Americans in Afghanistan ran into the same issues, being engaged from mountains from far away. At that point even the M4 is useless, and MGs (762 nato or .50cal) is better or some missile or bomb from an aircraft.

@FlashbangJuris @SgtBlitz_Fi I don't think it was ever a complete solution, it was always a compromise but an aks74u is better than just having a makarov or APS. If space was avaliable, the AKMS or AKS74 would be a better option. This is why the 14.5 inch barrel is in my opinion the best compromise.

@FlashbangJuris @SgtBlitz_Fi Just like the krink aks74u its more just for close range defensive use. It's not super practical out past 100 meters, but more useful than a submachine gun and uses the same mag as the other infantry rifle (beryl). Now I suppose some short barrel Grot or 416 replaces them

@DonnieDetroit19 You can add onto this by living in a poorly run and expensive state like Michigan, it's no wonder no one is having kids and the state is loosing population. It's not feasible even for those who can afford to live decently.

@DonnieDetroit19 I agree partially. Yea, alot of gen-z(and millennials) get useless degrees and spend poorly. But that doesn't change the fact that basics like housing and cars have doubled in price the past 20 years. Why should we have to settle for the trash and scraps because thats affordable?

~30% of Gen Z college graduates get a degree in a non marketable major and thus can't find a decent job when they graduate. Add the debt for their useless degree on top of that, and you have a lot of people angry at the system. But whose fault is it?

Hopefully you all had a nice long weekend, it's important to remember those servicemembers who gave it all and WHY they did it. It isn't the GDP or DC, it was for you. American soldiers with the California and Confederate flags during their deployment to Vietnam.
