Prices are soaring in the two places the media would not shut the fuck up about for four fucking years - at the pump and grocery store - and getting a fraction of the negative coverage Biden received even though Trump is **directly responsible** for the rise and Biden was not.

The AAA average fuel price is officially over $4 a gallon for the first time since mid-August 2022. Prices are up over $1 since the war in Iran began. Americans are paying $50 a month more in fuel costs. This is a significant psychological milestone that could start to cause Americans to pullback on spending, especially with borrowing costs also rising.

Absolute bombshell. The Pentagon and Israel deliberately bombed an Iranian civilian plane carrying life-saving medicine to Mashhad airport. A blatant war crime and a clear violation of aviation law. The Washington establishment is operating as a global cartel.

Trump has been an absolute catastrophe. The damage is so undeniable that, in a few years, most of his current supporters will simply deny they ever backed him. The widespread pivot away from his legacy is going to be spectacular to watch

I'm convinced Donald Trump is a top 10 character in the history of civilization. People will be studying the mass psychosis that allowed this obviously pathetic person to control so many people for generations to come. They'll never really be able to come up with 1 clean answer.

In 1942, Maria Telkes built a device that turned seawater into drinking water using only sunlight. It was ready to save soldiers dying of thirst in the Pacific. But a man at MIT kept delaying the contracts until the war was over and thousands of soldiers had died who could've been saved. When it finally shipped, it saved downed airmen and torpedoed sailors. She then built the first ever solar-heated homes in history. But MIT fired her. She died at 94 with 20 patents and 100+ published papers to her name and yet most people don't even know she existed.....

Absolute bombshell on live TV. US Senator Chris Coons confirms Israel intentionally assassinated the exact Iranian leader the Trump Administration was trying to negotiate peace with. Israel deliberately sabotaged diplomacy to trap Washington in an endless war.

So, here's the thing. Tolkien himself struggled over the nature of orcs. Although their orcish existence is inherently wicked, their essence as created beings in Eru's world is good. After all, evil cannot truly create. For this reason, Tolkien seemed to believe that, at least theoretically, an orc could be redeemed, however unlikely. Whether they are corrupted elves, as in the Silmarillion account published by Christopher, or something else, their most basic essence must ultimately come from Eru. Here is what Tolkien says in a a letter to Peter Hastings: "They [orcs] would be Morgoth's greatest Sins, abuses of his highest privilege, and would be creatures begotten of Sin, and naturally bad. (I nearly wrote 'irredeemably bad'; but that would be going too far. Because by accepting or tolerating their making – necessary to their actual existence – even Orcs would become part of the World, which is God's and ultimately good)." With that being said, a philosophically and theologically interesting story could be told of an orc's redemption, but I highly doubt that is what is going on in RoP. If this rumor is true, I predict we'll be getting typical postmodern slop. I want to be wrong, but I would be surprised if I were.
