I've been waiting to share this. Huge updates coming soon to Laravel Cloud over the next few weeks... ☁️ • A new $5/month plan. We want Cloud to be accessible to every Laravel developer. Simple as that. • Spend caps. Set a spend cap on your account and we'll either alert you or shut off compute when you hit it. No surprise bills. • True scale-to-zero compute. Hibernation has been around for a while, but we've made wake-up over 10x faster. App, database, and cache wake-up is now measured in milliseconds. Your users won't even notice. • New bot protection rules keep scale-to-zero apps scaled to zero more of the time, cutting your compute spend even further. • Fully managed, auto-scaling queues with observability. We've rebuilt "queue clusters" into a new product: "managed queues". Set a max worker count and we handle the rest. Scales on queue depth, scales to zero when idle, so you're never over-provisioned. @thesamparr Only few apps on my devices have notifications enabled for this exact purpose. I can't imagine any other way someone with your large social media presence cope.

The amount of notifications I receive daily are so distracting its nearly debilitating. I have a social media following, so that adds to it -- but even people who aren't active on social -- are you feeling this? Slack, email, phone texts, imessage on my computer, calls, insta, linkedin, DMs on all those platforms...and then people in office. Every month I do the same thing: delete them all from my phone/desktop. But I'm human - they're very hard to fully ignore. Retention/memory is feels worse than before, flow is harder to get into, focus time is much shorter. The only solution that seems to work is print work I need and do it manually without phones/computer in the room. Feels like this generation's obesity will be notifications. Attention diabetes!

@jayhemz True. I found WordFence has a lot of features I need. I might give Cloudflare a shot for WordPress next time I need to set something up.

@zaqtl WAF is already in Cloudflare 😅

Proxying through Cloudflare solves almost all Wordpress security issues.

I’m finally getting some decent results producing 100%-edible iridescent tempered chocolate. The colors are from the chocolate (not any ingredient or coating) diffracting light after being forcefully molded onto a diffraction grating in vacuum.
