With an unknown future for staff in ICBs, NHS E and other providers, leading with kindness has never been more vital. It’s not about being soft, or letting poor performance slide, it’s about recognising the emotional impact on staff and looking after each other as best we can

Not to keep everyone hanging. But ended up having 6 biopsies. Had some bleeding issues. NHS staff are the most amazing people. Been shown so much compassion & the drugs are gooood. So won’t be tweeting/texting again. I feel so so sleepy. Grateful for life. & Whatever happens next

And so we laid my beloved Nan to rest yesterday! A colourful affair for a fab & feisty, colourful lady. There were tears, laughter, many memories shared, lots of food and dancing. So lovely to celebrate with family from all over the globe, all gorgeously clad in burgundy! Grandmummy, ẹ sun re o!

Day 3 grief. Just a few hrs sleep last night. Woke up with the grief boom realisation & butterfly's in the stomach..again. I feel like a rare..happy part of my childhood has died, actually..a large part of me. My sister was very special. Loss puts things into perspective. This morning i went for coffee with 2 kind friends. I wasn't the best company & didn't have much to offer, thank you both 🙏🏼💙 My sister loved it when i did well in life & always made it clear she was proud of me. I'll take some self-care time out. As many of you know before the sad loss of my big sister a few days ago, i was already having a hard time. I think i'll bounce back with more fight than ever. First some down time to come to terms with whats going on. I know there are so many of us coping with the loss of a dear loved one.
