Shouting "Cameraperson Parth" is such a genius move. It does two things at once: 1. Clearly signals to the police around them that he + Parth are from the media, protecting them from any lathis coming their way. 2. Temporarily defuse police from swinging lathis at people, by making it clear that the media is recording - and in turn protecting people from any lathis coming at them. Whatever helps in the moment for people around them. Baller move.

Less than a month to go for our 80th Independence Day. This one surely feels a different.

Some folks corrected me that Samdish does this in many videos. That makes it better, a repeatable habit that could function as a safety move. Absolutely loved it. More independent media should do this!

Watching Samdish's video and you can't help but feel proud of what the youth of this country are today. People from all different walks of life coming in with real opinions, and sharp thoughts and points. Twitter, Instagram, etc. makes us feel that we're smarter and more intelligent - until you see a video like this. This India is far ahead of what mainstream media will ever show. This was very moving.
