I'll have to agree tbh, Ashita No Joe is there but I consider that more of a life philosophy type manga, I'm sure there's a better term to describe it but you catch my drift. In terms of pure sports manga Hajime No Ippo is unrivaled for me

Ashita no Joe is essentially a character study. Like its about Joe first and foremost. Ippo is about the journey of boxing from several different POVs. Its much more about the boxing world than any one character in particular.

@ze1ix I’ve always differentiated the two when talking to friends as Hajime no Ippo is about boxing Ashita no Joe is about Boxers Of course this isn’t like an absolute or anything but it’s how I get the message across.
