Israel just made it legal to hang Palestinians who have a 99.74% conviction rate in their courts For Israelis it's a 1.9% conviction rate for crimes against Palestinians but the death penalty is still illegal Israel can now kill any Palestinian they accuse

@AbarexKiller @Remiistired Not that I agree with it but voting expressions off was literally because they’d all agreed to do boys vs girls but he went against that

Recently did a poll on a tech group chat I’m in to find out how many Muslims were working at a Muslim-founded startup. Basically a health KPI to see if we’re progressing as a community in the startup space or not. Here are the results: - 34% of members work full-time in a Muslim founded startup/team - 18% of members work in a Muslim founded startup but not full-time - 48% of members don’t work in a Muslim founded startup / team at all. (Sample size: 113) I was pleasantly surprised by the % of full-timers … thought it would be lower tbh! Though I think there’s a difference between being full-time and having your main income source being from said startup. That might make the % halve. Still an obvious long way to go. But something I plan to ask every Ramadan to plot trends / changes inshaAllah What else should I be asking / tracking?

@r_marked When editing a message in a conversation the search tool is limited to 1 and cannot be altered. Is this intentional and if so what’s the reasoning?

@abigailblossoms @byrhop Best of both worlds is Lucas refusing to turn it off but for some other reason it turns off (one of the girls forcefully, demodogs, breaks etc). The audience + Lucas then think it’s over for Max but she comes through and we see hear her monologue that she didn’t need it.

@byrhop i get why people would love that, but i personally love that lucas refused to turn the music off, even if it risked their life. and i personally love that max realized lucas was her connection to the world on her own, without it needing to be proven/shown to her. means more #tome

just realized that the hospital basement scene would be a 100 times better if Lucas had to turn off the radio and Max still managed to get out because of him it would make me start screaming at that TV fr in that moment but her waking up anyway would hit so much harder

@YOUALWAYSBZTN @keyon No acting but what does being a cartoon have to do with the plot? The tweet is about sticking the landing from a plot perspective not from acting lol

@awsaf49 @AndrewYNg @jyx_su Hmm are you sure? I don’t think a gpt review could get this in depth with the technical elements. Have you got any examples of a good prompt you’d say is comparable?

@AndrewYNg @jyx_su Tried this. 1) extremely slow 2) unfortunately this doesn't seem very different than chatgpt review w/ proper prompting.

Releasing a new "Agentic Reviewer" for research papers. I started coding this as a weekend project, and @jyx_su made it much better. I was inspired by a student who had a paper rejected 6 times over 3 years. Their feedback loop -- waiting ~6 months for feedback each time -- was painfully slow. We wanted to see if an agentic workflow can help researchers iterate faster. When we trained the system on ICLR 2025 reviews and measured Spearman correlation (higher is better) on the test set: - Correlation between two human reviewers: 0.41 - Correlation between AI and a human reviewer: 0.42 This suggests agentic reviewing is approaching human-level performance. The agent grounds its feedback by searching arXiv, so it works best in fields like AI where research is freely published there. It’s an experimental tool, but I hope it helps you with your research. Check it out here: paperreview.ai
