I read the first hundred pages of The Road last year, and read the first hundred pages of Blood Meridian this year, and in both instances, gave up, because the books never clicked. Lyrical writing, but the characters are reduced to way down Maslow's hierarchy, and the tone is so relentlessly bleak, with almost no humanity breaking through, it was difficult to feel anything besides the flint clicking against the cold steel in the overwhelming darkness. I know many of you love it, but to me, it's overwrought, overstylized, and overhyped.

You might even start picking off critical allies of the PRC in areas of the world where they are poorly postured to do anything about it. If I were the U.S., in response to this threat, I would weaken all their allies. Probably start at home, immigration reform, deportations, but restricted by our legal system. I’d increase U.S. production. I’d likely find resources else where too, don’t want to deplete your own supply - maybe Venezuela. Work to strengthen our hemisphere allies.

Look, your average person might believe this, but as a previous holder of TS/SCI clearance, I do not believe this for one second.
Someone accused of leaking classified info routinely has their access suspended or restricted right away. It is standing operating procedure in the IC to protect sources and methods while any credible investigation runs.

The question to me is: when was his clearance suspended. If it was months ago, then okay, I buy the investigation story, even if those investigations are derived from whisper campaigns designed to take people off the board. (I’ve seen these first hand). But if his clearance wasn’t suspended until his resignation, then the fbi investigation story is most likely a damage control smear. Seeing as to how he was receiving briefings up to and including 2 weeks ago, the latter is more likely.
That’s the last I’ll say on this. This whole ordeal is a landmine for the right. Let’s all ignore this, and address it after we have handled and unified around more important domestic and strategic geopolitical issues.

I refuse to jump to conclusions about guilt without the facts here, but if there is an FBI investigation, that indicates to me that Joe Kent knew this was coming. The messaging in his resignation letter was too political for there not to be a catalyst.

When the FBI does an investigation, they don't announce it to the press. Unless it is weaponized government serving a political purpose.

Dolores Huerta has been a card-carrying UFW zealot and opportunist for decades. If this is true, why didn't she reveal this when Chavez died in 1993, 33 years ago? He wasn’t. Proving leaks is a very binary thing. You either have the evidence or you don’t. A leaking accusation follows a telecommunication confiscation which proves pretty quickly if it were true. Right now it’s just a full court press trying ti smear him. Leaks would generally include emails or text exchanges. Thus there is a digital record. He leaks? Fine, show the proof. A notorious tactic to get targets out of government is to start a whisper campaign they leaked to the press. This ensures they are sidelined during the investigation and shamed out despite being innocent(see Caldwell). It happens all the time. Meanwhile it was an open secret that Milley and his underlings leak to Jen Griffin whenever they want to run an IO campaign. So whatever. But you are just parroting bullshit you heard from other people who are bullshitting.
