@malgorium @joshmaycpa People pay for the convenience of not having to cook at home. The 12$ is for the restaurant to keep up with employees wages, and the increasing costs of food. 12$ fries is full on retarded but, cooks have to be paid, waiters, etc.

Honestly I work part time in places like bars and hotels and that and a common complaint I get around the owners is how much they hate social media because it has brought such a wound to their businesses that is terrifying. Almost nobody wants to party, have fun, or be genuine anymore out of fear of being recorded that most people don't even go to clubs anymore and if they do... all they do is stand on a corner by themselves on their phones.
