📍 Mauritius 🇲🇺 Internet money has opened the world to everyone. Geo Arbitrage is real and it’s never been easier to live nomadically. Most of the “hidden gems” that were once untouched are now overrun by entitled, broke expats. There are hotspots on every continent, but I’m mainly talking about Latin America and Asia. I personally rotate between three continents each year and have done so for the last few years. Everyone’s different, but this lifestyle still works for me. Mauritius remains a genuine hidden gem, With a simple residency path for those who want it. And thanks to its geography, it doesn’t attract the usual crowds like Latin America and Asia. We’ve reached a point in the expat community where there are two clear camps: Camp 1: The brokies chasing attention (and of course the degenerate sexpats). Camp 2: Those who just want peace and quiet to raise their family. If you’re in Camp 2, the real luxury now is distance from those in Camp 1. In other words, leaving the big cities for more rural, isolated spaces. If you value peace and quiet, Mauritius is one of the few places that still truly offers it.
