it’s absolutely unhinged that we’ve already reached the point where you can spin up a full episode of something like family guy or south park or futurama without writers, animators, voice actors, etc. just a simple prompt which will also be written by ai at some point.
seasons of tv, generated on demand by users & ai. that’s the future staring us down.
if you think about it broadly, this is basically the infinite scroll all over again but now it *produces* the content instead of fetching it. there is no supply side required. facebook spent all that time trying to get everyone to post content but that is no longer necessary. this is an existential development for… meta & possibly netflix & maybe even youtube.

Well, it's never too late, but it's finally good to see this happen, as it does impact cheats greatly. This is a good step in the right direction for the entire gaming ecosystem. Good job to both @CallofDuty and @Battlefield's anti-cheat teams for pushing towards a more secure gaming platform.
It won't stop things like DMA, but it does put up a big barrier to eliminate and detect/prevent spoofers better and also eliminate a large portion of cheats. I want to make sure you guys all understand that having the features enabled is one thing, but it's about how you use them in anti-cheat that matters the most here. Regardless, this is a big W.

A quick update on viewcounts. We have teams and tech dedicated to ensuring that the views that show up on channels reflect actual viewership, and aren’t artificially inflated in any way. Ultimately, metrics on Twitch should represent the real and growing communities that show up and participate on channels, so we regularly update detection tools and methods.
We recently made changes that meaningfully improved our ability to identify viewbots, inauthentic viewership, and other potentially fake engagement. These changes will roll out over the next few weeks.
So, if your channel was viewbotted, or if some of your viewers are artificial or inflated, you will see an impact to your channel’s viewcount. This also means that third party sites that publish unverified Twitch viewcounts are going to see changes to that data over time.
We recognize that viewbotting can be out of the streamer’s control. In making these changes, our goal is to improve the experiences for both streamers and viewers.

This device was presumably impossible to detect.
No matter the price or how private you go with KYC verification or invite only, we will always be there, and you will inevitably be banned, just as we have always done and continue to do.
Cheating will not stop, but that doesn't mean we sit and don't do anything about it
