China is now shipping it's own GPUs. This is the Lisuan LX 7G1000. But everyone is missing the point. - You can get 88fps in Cyberpunk 2077. - It has no dedicated ray-tracing hardware. - On rasterization it performs better than a 3060 in synthetic benchmarks. - Real work game perf put it lower than a 5060 which beats it by about 30% and costs $300 instead of $485. The issues isn't that China shipped a so-so card at a high price point, it's that they shipped one at all. The previous barriers to their design, software and hardware capabilities are dropping fast. We might see competitive GPUs out of China sooner than we think.

There's a better way.

Human authority is the missing layer of the agentic era. Passport Prime is the first Human Authority Hardware. • $6.4M raised led by Fulgur Ventures • Passport Prime is shipping next day, worldwide. • KeyOS is open to developers The trust layer for the AI era is here 🧵

“That's why we called it Passport. We see it as a way to secure your digital life” @FOUNDATIONdvcs bigger vision is not just a Bitcoin hardware wallet. It’s a device for maintaining your personal authority in an age of AI. This clip is from late 2022. New interview with @zherbert loading...

Magic Backup!🧙♂️ Zach Herbert/ @zherbert explained why they call it “Magic Backup” and we tested it live. During setup you tap two NFC key cards. Your master seed is split Shamir-style: two shares on the cards, one encrypted share goes to iCloud Keychain via the Envoy app. Everything else (seeds in Vault, 2FA codes, FIDO security keys, Nostr keys, app settings) gets automatically encrypted by the master seed and backed up to @FOUNDATIONdvcs's server as an encrypted blob. We wiped the entire device on stream, re-paired, tapped one card and every single thing came back perfectly. No manual seed entry needed. This feels like the iCloud moment for serious self-custody. Have you ever lost access to a hardware wallet or forgotten a seed? What happened?
