Proud to be a teacher, Malala's father and a peace, women's rights and education activist. RTs do not equal endorsement.

Malala Fund has always been carried forward by incredible people, each helping shape our mission. I’m grateful to @lenalfi for all she has built over the last few years and excited to welcome @nabilaaguele as Malala Fund’s next CEO. Nabila is dedicated, thoughtful and deeply committed to the girls we serve. From leading our work in Nigeria, she brings both vision and action to everything she does… and she’s always prepared, down to the extra jackets to keep our team warm when needed ❤️ I know she will accomplish so much in this next chapter as we continue working to ensure every girl can access 12 years of free, safe, quality education. The future of @malalafund is in excellent hands 💫

Our mission is carried by many and each leader takes it forward, chapter by chapter. We're so grateful to Lena Alfi for what she has built: an ambitious strategy, strong leadership and a solid foundation for what comes next. And we couldn’t be more excited to see @NabilaAguele accelerate that vision. She brings deep policy and advocacy expertise, experience leading our work in Nigeria and an unwavering commitment to the girls we serve. The next chapter is in excellent hands. 💫 🔗 mala.la/4c0vFLX

She dreams of becoming an astronaut, yet she says so innocently, “I might never get to go to school because I haven’t been allowed to study beyond sixth grade.” Like millions of Afghan girls, she is denied her basic right to education. More than sixteen thousand days have passed, and she still waits for her chance to learn. In the past week, individuals close to the Taliban have repeatedly reported my X account to silence it. As a result, I have lost nearly 200 followers. We will not be silenced. We will continue to speak for girls’ education and human rights. I ask you to stand with me. Your support can help save my X account and amplify the voices of millions who are denied human rights, education, and work, and who live under the harshest conditions. Even though I will never stop speaking, the Taliban and those close to them are trying to silence anyone who speaks about women’s rights, education, and human freedom. In recent weeks, my account has been repeatedly reported, and my followers are decreasing unnaturally. Supporting me means supporting human rights and giving strength to those whose voices the world needs to hear. #LetAfghanGirlsLearn #FreeHumanRights @jk_rowling @TRobinsonNewEra @AsYouNotWish @naomirwolf @WRNAfghanistan @SR_Afghanistan @JaneCaro @UN_PGA @LizaRosen0000 @WRNLeeds @WomensRightsNet @AfghanLetter @pass_blue @X @XAustralia @Support @premium @elonmusk @IHRF_English @FForotan

دولس کلنه صفیه غواړي ستورمزلې شي خو له خپلې ځانګړې وړتیا او استعداد سره سره به افغانستان کې دې موخې ته ورسېږي؟

Over 1,600 days, Afghan girls have been banned from school, but world watches silently. This is gender apartheid, and global inaction is complicity. How long will this continue? Girls beyond sixth grade are still denied their right to education. #LetAfghanGirlsLearn #Afghanistan
