The @Shopify outage yesterday seemed to really impact performance across all Shopify sites. Non Shopify sites didn't see any impact. Has Shopify made a statement?

@ShopifySupport We get that tech fails and mistakes happen but 1) it takes you a very long time to officially acknowledge there is a problem at all and 2) your status page doesn't ever seem to update until you have thousands of mention on social plus 3) a generic advert for Shopify is awful!

#Shopify stores are coming back online but I feel that merchants deserve some sort of explanation given that the storefront was down for the entire network! Usually it is just the backend that goes down. Don't sweep this under the carpet @Shopify @ShopifySupport!

An Independent Disciplinary Commission has today expelled Southampton from the Sky Bet Championship Play-Offs after the Club admitted to multiple breaches of EFL Regulations related to the unauthorised filming of other Clubs’ training. In addition, the Club has received a four-point deduction that will be applied to the 2026/27 Championship table. The effect of today’s order is that Middlesbrough are reinstated into the 2026 Play-Offs and will proceed to the Play-Off Final against Hull City. Since @Shopify changed the way they handle bots this past week, they are now blocking @ahrefs site audit mobile crawler by default and it is just returning a 403 response (desktop UA still can crawl though) - anyone else noticed this or know how to resolve? cc @ShopifySupport
