@BuildwithPublic Yeah seems some algo traders love it, but that button specifically is probably pressed by traders who are tilted 99 percent of the time. I don't consider algorithmic based reversal execution to be the same as a point click trader pressing the Reverse button.

@ZigsOnTheBid Flatten/reverse can be v useful for algo strats that trade terminal velocity- especially with order flow logic

@machdragon Yeah doom button for sure. Maybe some can make magic happen with it, maybe 1% of those that use it.

@ZigsOnTheBid yeah never click that button... it closes the position with mkt order, then re-enters the other side with mkt order. the only time you would want to reverse a position quickly is in a fast moving market... so you get absolutely fucked on both sides of the spread in that scenario
