Many thanks to all the people working in AI. This is such an invaluable tool for society to access. It makes countless lives so much easier and allows us all to do so much more than we could without it. Thank you!

@AdamTozser1776 @WSJ Weygovy is cheaper if you're wondering. This is where everything will be headed soon enough though so I figured I would answer the next question vs yours.

@Nick_Davidov @DKBhalotia Believe it or not, the visa program has changed just slightly since those three were granted. And you have no idea if fraudsters are the exception or not. By a strict reading of the law, they're almost certainly the majority. Most companies commit fraud to get an H1B.

The biggest bullshit move by DHS in its history. So everyone on a O1 or H1B visa would have to stop working legally in the US, go back to their country and wait for years of backlog? This includes top scientists in our universities, founders of billion dollar companies (at least 3 just in our portfolio would be affected by the way). And if we look at individual countries it becomes even more bs. Indians would have to wait decades. Russians don’t have anywhere to go (there is no US embassy in Russia, hello?). This is the worst imaginable way to disrupt important work for the country and pretend you’re fighting some loophole.
Homeland Security@DHSgov

An alien who is in the U.S. temporarily and wants a Green Card must return to their home country to apply. This policy allows our immigration system to function as the law intended instead of incentivizing loopholes. The era of abusing our nation’s immigration system is over.

among other things. ai is clearly better than any living human at coding and mathematics. it will soon be better than any living human at every single task we can think of. we need to put in some work to ensure we’re ready for that world.

The best thing OpenAI did was drop Sora. It frees up compute and money for more important things. Google is making the same mistake by pushing Omni and Flash instead of focusing on what they really should have delivered: 3.5 Pro.

The NAACP's campaign calls out Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas and South Carolina as states to boycott, arguing that the athletic programs of those states' flagship universities are especially reliant on Black athletic talent and should protect Black political interests. @giffmana @OfficialLoganK Small incremental increases is something you’d better get used to at your new company.

Gemini 3.5 feels like the start of a new era for Gemini, we spent the last 2.5 years putting the infrastructure, products, team, etc in place (learning lots of lessons along the way). The model is the product, please keep the feedback coming!

One thing I find strange about the AI hate crowd is how often they show up in AI threads just to announce how much they hate AI. I don’t see AI enthusiasts invading anti-AI threads like an insect swarm to leave nasty comments. Anti-AI is a coordinated campaign.

@mark_k Here in the U.S., the public school system is indoctrinating kids with woke ideology and many parents, especially in Blue states want it. Liberalism is a disease that’s hard to cure.

I think it's kinda understandable when young people start leaning left politically. There are many different factors for this, and many of us have been in the same place. However, there is no excuse for mature humans to be woke. They should have developed better judgement.

It is getting genuinely difficult to keep track of all of the names of AI products being unveiled. In the last hour, Google's unveiled Google Pics (which is not Google Photos), and updates to Google Flow, Nano Banana, Veo (all media generation), Google Antigravity, Gemini Spark, Gemini Omni, Gemini 3.5 Flash

Welcome to Gemini 3.5 Flash, our most powerful model to date. It pushes the frontier of intelligence, speed, and cost putting 3.5 Flash in a class of its own. We spent the last 6 months making sure Flash is great for real world use cases. It's available everywhere now!
