Young QBs: 1 quick way to know if you’re truly pushing off your back leg and getting good hip rotation in your throws.. Check the knee cap of your back leg. If it doesn’t turn towards the ground during your “push off” phase of your throw you’re not getting the proper rotation or being as rotational as you could be. It’s anatomically impossible to be rotational with the throwing hip if the knee cap doesn’t turn towards the ground .
