@zipnosis20 @ChristopherHine You might be able to cherry pick a few instances of that happening, but overall he's been consistently locked in and playing well on the defensive end while shouldering a high usage load on offense.

Suspected the Wolves coaching staff was going to be on TJ Shannon pretty good about defensive game plan issues because they really need what he brings offensively. Judging by Chris Finch's tone when he was asked about cleaning up Shannon's mistakes, that likely happened.

@howlytics @ChristopherHine He has not been good. He has had flashes of good defense and then stares at everyone around him because he was supposed to switch on a pick like everyone else and didn’t and they got an easy layup

@zipnosis20 @ChristopherHine Julius has been good all playoffs on the defensive end, and offers far more on offense. Those players naturally get more leeway.

@barstoolsports What’s crazy about this is he’s like “I’m going to point at you but gotta make sure mom don’t see” and then two seconds later is like, nah I’m pointing at you in the open screw it. And gets punished

Many other options that had little to no affect defensively similarly to TJ, but at least TJ gives you a lot more effort

I meant honestly TJ was really bad the first half and stint in the second half First half he was -9 with a game worse -48.2 net rating. Mike was just -2 with a -7.4 So personally I would have rolled with Mike as well. Third quarter they were both pretty bad hence Mike not getting any minutes in the last 18 mins of the game. Just my two cents but I agree with Finch on this one.

@AjKFAN I totally agree in the playoffs the decisions to challenge have been really bad. But through the last few years this has been one area this coaching staff has actually been very good. Lots of things to question with this coaching staff, just not sure if this is the hill to die on

@zipnosis20 My wording could have been different but this was clearly in reference to the pretty poor decisions for early reviews in the last few games resulting in the loss of challenges the rest of those games. It’s a short window to decide, but some of them have been pretty obvious.

The Wolves are THE WORST in the league at challenges. Just terrible decisions and no challenge the rest of the way.

Shannon was a -9 in 7 minutes in the first half. Would like to see him get another chance. But the first shift didn't go well.

I doubt the NBA office will suspend the players for this, but Rudy Gobert and Bones Hyland did step foot on the court, enter the altercation, and escalate things at the end of tonight’s game. No Denver bench players were directly involved.

Anthony Edwards is listed as questionable for Game 1 in Denver with “right knee injury maintenance”. Edwards appeared to be healthy and in shape at practice this week. He said he is down to 218 pounds, which he said is the lightest he’s been since college.
