@RossTuckerNFL That’s such a simple and doable method. I’d say 5 minutes instead of 10. Clock expires, go back to center ice and carry on. After that 5, back to the usual.

My question for all the hockey folks saying I’m an idiot because they need to Zamboni the ice & the players need a break. They do it in the regular season for 5 minutes. What’s the cut off for both, 10 minutes? Let’s play those 10 immediately then Zamboni/rest for 5 minutes and continue. 🤔

@Mav4T @RossTuckerNFL Because they have 82 regular season games and a different city to be in the next day. The Stanley Cup is won by playing hockey by the rules, the same rules for every game.

@RossTuckerNFL Lot of hockey purists will give you all kinds of excuses. I love the idea of immediately starting a 10 minute overtime then doing the resurfacing and playing 20s after that. No reason they can’t do that.
