@manny_ottawa @cathmckenna Global warming causes polar vortexes. Warmer temps in the Arctic cause the jet stream to move, meaning colder air reaching farther south. Now leave @cathmckenna alone. on.natgeo.com/2la74io #FactBack @protectwintersc factavalanche.com

@HenryMakow Humans are responsible for climate change. Fossil fuels are really old and have a different chemical fingerprint from other GHG. Scientists can pinpoint which gases come from which sources. bit.ly/2llNEa5 #FactBack @protectwintersc factavalanche.com

@jkenney Scientists from Stanford Energy Modeling Forum have found carbon taxes substantially reduce emissions and have long-term positive economic growth. Being short-sighted isn't the solution. #cdnpoli bit.ly/2lPlSTU #FactBack @protectwintersc factavalanche.com

If re-elected, the federal Liberals will massively increase their carbon tax, making life more expensive for Canadians struggling with the cost of life.

@EcoSenseNow Go Fact Yourself: Weather is NOT climate. 🙄 Climate models predict climate, which is weather AVERAGES, not daily or hourly weather conditions. bit.ly/2ljMego #FactBack @protectwintersc factavalanche.com

Funny, no mention of the “climate emergency” in this piece.😉😉 cnn.com/2019/09/29/us/…

@tan123 Go Fact Yourself: Oceans are not cooling. They absorb more than 90% of all heat trapped by CO2. This has resulted in an overall ocean temp increase of 0.1°C. bit.ly/2mjSEfN #FactBack @protectwintersc factavalanche.com

Like most clueless warmists, Dave imagines that there is "compelling" evidence supporting the notion that CO2 represents an "existential threat".
Like 100% of warmists, Dave can't actually produce that compelling evidence.

@BattyBlogger @njbtweet @tan123 Statement of fact, not an accusation. The evidence for AGW is compelling, but if you don't accept it, you deserve only ridicule for your stupidity. I can't be bothered with you idiots any more.

@EcoSenseNow Sea levels have, on average, gone up around 8 inches, and this rate is increasing. and is projected to rise as much as 3 feet or more by the end of century. go.nasa.gov/2lJvort #FactBack @protectwintersc factavalanche.com

A perspective on sea level rise. While the Modern Warm Period is causing a net rise it is very small. But many locations show receding sea level, like where I live on Vancouver Island near Tofino. Here are some examples. See for hundreds of locations:

Actually no, they’re not. Thanks to economic growth and all the amazing comfort and technology you can enjoy as someone living in the modern age.
Climate alarmism is just an irrational reaction. There is no reason to panic.

"People are dying ... And all you can talk about is the money and fairytales of eternal economic growth." Climate activist Greta Thunberg condemned world leaders in her UN speech today.

@Liz_Wheeler @GretaThunberg Dear Liz, Go Fact Yourself: 12,000 years of stable climate allowed complex civilization to develop. Before that, climate variability was responsible for the rise and fall of many ancient civilizations. go.nasa.gov/2mn1vNB #FactBack @protectwintersc factavalanche.com

Since nobody will tell @GretaThunberg, I will:
Sweet child, climate change isn't going to kill you. The world isn't ending in 12yrs. You DO have a future.
You'll die eventually, but not bc of fluctuating temps of Earth’s atmosphere. We're not on the verge of a mass extinction.
