@Doowan_ @GhaelWindss A pet peeve of mine is people who tap their runes in a seemingly random order so it’s not easily visible how many runes they have available. It kind of feels similar. It’s fair game but I don’t like it

@GhaelWindss That’s where it gets tricky, doesn’t it? You’re right that it’s “invisible” (per TR 502.6.). But this feels almost exploitable for players to silently track their own resources and then surprise their enemy (who may be tired). Imo sneaky resource gen should not be a skill in RB

#Riftbound QOTD: I move my Jhin Murderous Artist to attack a battlefield. I forget to declare his trigger. During the showdown, I pass Focus. Soon after, I remember Jhin's trigger and attempt to resolve it. Is this a missed trigger?

@RiftRivalsTCG @Doowan_ Half right. If your reflection is a copy of a non token unit like Lonely Poro, you cannot move it as you aren't a token. But if you copied a token like a bird token, you can move it. Basically as of right now tokenness is a copied trait

@Doowan_ Nice one 😁 grabbing up the „ your token isn‘t a token“ discussion. For anyone, who didn‘t catch this up: it won‘t work (anymore) because the moment the reflection copies a unit, it becomes that unit and isn‘t treated as token anymore.

#Riftbound QOTD: I have a Reflection token that has copied a unit. I attack a battlefield with Azir Sovereign. Can I move the Reflection token to the battlefield? (Side note, I had this question queued up a week ago. The timing couldn't have been more uncanny)

@Noah52487648 @Doowan_ Deflect is an added cost to play the card, not a targeting restriction. Just like you can pump to nullify Gust or used to be able to FoF away from Rebuke/HB. I agree the rules are not intuitive enough though.

@zmattk @Doowan_ I get that might be how it works but makes no sense because if you add deflect after target you it doesn’t become illegal if they don’t pay it. At time of target with wild claw it was legal.

#Riftbound QOTD: Let's revisit this again :) I have an Alpha Wildclaw and a Whiteflame Protector at a battlefield. My enemy plays a kill spell and targets Whiteflame. I react with Discipline and target Alpha Wildclaw. Does the spell kill Whiteflame?

Pre-Rift Pulls. Day 5 of 7 Husband went 1-2 and I went 1-2. Another alt art rune woo! Now we're just missing orange, yellow, and green. 🥹 So close! I'm also super determined to get an ON before pre-rifts end. I gotta lock in 😬 (Directions unclear, go 0-3 every time)

@RiftboundMeta Ivern is very strong but needs some extra units from the packs. I've found Diana to be mid, her removal is great but needs a top end to be able to close out games. XP is just so strong. I've forced XP in 4 rifts and only lost one game.

The pre-rift starter decks could be... a bit more balanced

@glitchedgoober I played in a lot of prerifts over the weekend. I also have the worst luck. 3 purple Diana, 3 red Vi, 2 yellow poppy 😑

What sleeves do you all like? Dragon shield I find too big (I hate the weird border of sleeve on the inside) GameGenic I love but the non double matte ones don’t shuffle too great when they’re new. Ideally I’d do art sleeves and just oversleeve them but idk I also need to buy like atleast enough for 4 decks of sleeves.
