🚨BREAKING | RIsraeli occupation forces bombed and killed journalists in a deliberate strike on a clearly marked media vehicle on the Kfarhouna–Jezzine road in southern Lebanon today on March 28, 2026, as they were covering the ongoing illegitimate Israeli occupation assault in the south. Among those killed were Al Mayadeen correspondent Fatima Ftouni, Al Manar correspondent Ali Shoeib, one of the most prominent war reporters in Lebanon, and photojournalist Mohammad Ftouni. They were carrying nothing but cameras, microphones, and press gear when they were targeted. Hours before her killing, Fatima Ftouni had spoken about losing seven members of her own family in an earlier Israeli strike on her hometown. In this moment, Al Mayadeen journalist Jamal Al-Gharbi mourns his colleague, speaking from the scene with visible grief as he describes the loss. Colleagues at the site stressed that the team was clearly identifiable as media workers at the time of the strike, describing it as a direct assassination of journalists. No proper public consultation has been conducted by the govt with stakeholders. It’s not on protestors- it’s the govt’s job.

This is a building in Iran university of science and technology (IUST) that was targeted today in Tehran. This university -one of the leading engineering universities of Iran- is where I got my BSc and MSc degree in engineering years ago. This aggression is all about Iran gaining power via science.
