This is Goldman Sachs Japan Head of Equities He has racially transmogrified. Look at the restrained way he holds tension, the consensus affirming tone of voice, agreeable headnod after each sentence, the mouth squeezing at the end. No ways he’s getting kicked from the igloo now

I met a blonde white guy raised from birth in Japan (with no Japanese ancestry), and I don’t know how to explain it, but he looked literally, physically more Asian than other white guys.

You won't get torn down by other winners, only they know how hard it is to get to the top. It's only anklebiters who spend time trying to punch up at you.

Coin Center is ok with this change. If you engage in that intentional act, e.g. specifically helping a cartel money broker use your protocol, then you are already on the hook for money laundering irrespective of the BRCA. This change mirrors that. It's reasonable. 2/

The human feels the space above him more acutely than the space around him. That's why people get road rage. Cars are low ceiling environments. And when you step out of your car you feel a wave of relief. You enter the highest ceiling of them all. The sky

🇪🇺 Economist Richard Werner makes a pointed argument: the EU was modeled on the Soviet Union. The USSR had a parliament that looked democratic but couldn't initiate laws. Those came from the unelected Politburo. The EU has the same structure: the European Parliament mostly approves and amends, while the unelected European Commission holds the monopoly on initiating legislation. He also notes the timing. The Maastricht Treaty and the euro were rushed into existence almost immediately after the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991. Werner isn't fringe. He's the economist who coined quantitative easing and predicted the 2008 financial crisis. Agree or not, the democratic deficit argument is hard to dismiss.

@JusticeRage Stock Pixel OS is the most secure OS permitted by the Play Integrity API. Nearly everything it permits has absolutely atrocious security. They permit devices with years without any security patches. Play Integrity API has one real requirement: licensing Google's apps/services.

My biggest pet peeve is: people who can never be on time for anything. It doesn't matter what it is... They just can't be on time. This really grinds my gears. Tell me yours, please. I am in a venting mood. 👇

Flashback to 2022, when the MSM machine attacked me for reporting on the US-funded biolabs in Ukraine. MSNBC’s Alex Wagner featured my viral thread on the biolabs, and I was smeared as a Russian asset. Turns out I was right, and the MSM tried to cover it up. They failed.

The benefits of coloured light have been known for decades, largely thanks to poultry farmers. Green light, for example, makes chickens grow more muscle and blue light seems to increase testosterone. It was never a stupid idea to suppose a) that particular frequencies of light might have particular hormonal and metabolic benefits, and b) that the widespread changes to our “light environment” if you will, such as the transition to LED lighting, might be having individual and aggregate effects on our health.

Acetaminophen is a strange drug. In my field of behavioral pharmacology, giving acetaminophen in double blind research to healthy people causes them to take more risky decisions and lowers their perceptions of risk. We don’t know why it does this, and most people who take it are completely unaware that it affects how they make decisions.
