What we feared is happening ! And we MUST NOT allow it ! Tamil Nadu has reportedly lost the AMCA flight testing and integration project despite offering what the story itself describes as technically superior infrastructure conditions. The report clearly states that the previous government under former CM @MKStalin had been in talks with DRDO for three years to anchor the project in Hosur. The DMK government offered 100 acres free of cost and proposed a 3.5 km runway at Hosur airport, making it strategically closer to ADA Bengaluru. *Then what happened?* The story itself uses the phrase “political considerations”. !!! What political considerations? How can strategic national defence investments be decided on political grounds? This shift is grossly unfair to Tamil Nadu and deeply damaging to the credibility of cooperative #federalism. I took several meetings on this single project and our team worked extremely hard over the last 3 years for this project and it personally deeply hurts to see this crucial project being shifted. The present location is also not technically superior to the one that we offered in TN ! The union govt owes the people of Tamil Nadu an explanation. One should also understand that a change in government should not matter with projects of such importance especially when Tamil Nadu is known for its policy continuity ! Am sure that the present dispensation will ensure the same. Tamil Nadu cannot afford any drift at this moment.The state needs an agile and astute Minister for Industries immediately to aggressively pursue and protect strategic investments. I also request Honourable @CMOTamilnadu Thiru. C.Joseph Vijay to personally step in on this issue at the earliest ! He must urgently write to the @PMOIndia and Honourable Minister for Defence Thiru @rajnathsingh explaining our location, manpower and infrastructural superiority. Took an MTC premium bus today in Chennai. Brand new premium bus with seat belts, WiFi, mobile charging sockets and cushioned seats. Interviewed a backend developer. Guy was at 21 LPA. We offered 28 LPA, roughly a 33 percent hike. He agreed and confirmed joining. Yesterday he emailed saying he got a 32 LPA offer elsewhere and now wants 36 LPA from us. Nonsense. Why agree in the first place. If you are still shopping offers just say it upfront. We stopped interviewing other candidates and waited through the notice period for the joining date. Now two days before joining, he came back with a new price tag.

Now, the baseline for their extortion is ₹100, and they demand it as if it’s their god-given right. If a passenger doesn't cave in, the driver just bins the ride from their end. To make matters worse, these tech companies are importing that rubbish American tipping culture, nudging you to pay extra before the ride is even confirmed just to get someone to show up. On top of that, auto drivers are the worst offenders on the road: 1. constantly breaking traffic laws 2. Driving like maniacs, and causing accidents. Half of them probably won't even have the right paperwork. The poor policemen can’t even touch these hooligans because they have to consider the consequences of the backlash from the political parties and the auto unions. People need to pull their socks up and use public transport—trains, the Metro, or buses. Otherwise, use your own car, carpool with mates, or just walk or grab a bicycle for the last mile instead of being lazy and bankrolling these thugs. That’s the only way these drivers will go bust and end up where they belong: off the road. But let’s be real, that’s a pipe dream because there’s always going to be a segment of the population that treats these autos like a bloody lifeline.

Such conduct reflects a grave failure of moral, legal and public responsibility. Harassing persons with disabilities and targeting citizens on religious grounds strikes at the core of our constitutional ethos. Sadly, this is not an aberration but part of a pattern the RSS–BJP has pursued for decades. This is being carried out with impunity since the BJP-led NDA has assumed office in Delhi. In such a situation, he was going to be killed certainly. And if Mr Singhal is so courageous then why didn't he come to Kandahar to fight those Hijackers & rescue us?" We go on a holiday, and just visit that one place or perhaps a neighboring place. We visit places in a leisure manner. We know we can't visit ALL the places. But whatever we are visiting we enjoy. If we can't visit all the places, we are fine with it. But we see others - they are in a rush, they want to visit everything, like ticking off items in their list. In this process, they are stressed. They aren't even enjoying the places that they are visiting currently, they are in a rush to move to the next place. When holidays which are meant to be relaxing become stressful, what is the point in even going on a holiday??? #holiday
