Why is Peller the one always used when making a case for unintelligent people in the society?

Ycee, I’m highly disappointed in you. How can you hate on Peller just because he blew up despite being illiterate? If he didn’t have anything entertaining to offer, he wouldn’t have blown up. That aside, there are many artists who blew up at a tender age despite being illiterate, just like Wizkid. Wizkid didn’t bother to further his education, yet he’s still bigger than you in the music industry, even after all your education. Just talk about the bad governance, bad economy, the kidnapping, and the kpaing of Nigerian citizens that’s going on, and leave illiterates alone. If most of them had the same opportunities you had, they would be educated as well.

"Nigerian society is no longer celebrating academic excellence. It’s not even Yahøø culture anymore; now we have a 'Peller culture.' This 'Olodo' uprising we are witnessing is terrible. It feels like we are trying so hard to accommodate ignorance so people won’t feel bad, and now they seem to be the majority. The massive att@ck on Nigeria’s educational system is alarming, aside from kidn@ppings and Bøko Haram att@cks." —Ycee

Mind you, graduating from a Nigerian University does not make anyone less of an Olodo. See, for instance, Ezi Nupe, the first class holder that supports criminals and makes drunken statements in that support, or BlehisStupid, another alleged high-flier, with daft arguments

“Me that went to school and graduated, as government didn’t give us a job, what did you want us to do? You can’t expect those who have high IQs and at the end of the day end up cleaning toilets.” — Jarvis, responding to Ycee after he called her husband “Olodo Uprising.”

Pocking intelligent conversation to many Nigerian youths now makes you look like an odd one out. A large chunk just want to get laid, play snooker and smooch.
