What’s hilarious about this whole fiasco is that Disney specifically bought Star Wars because they lacked a brand that appealed to boys. They had tons of merch sales to girls but had almost nothing for boys. So they bought it for billions and the creative dept feminized it defeating the entire purpose of buying it to begin with.

You are expected to be a worker droid, devoid of any emotion except for gleeful servitude toward your wife, employer, and government overlords. Humans have always had passive hobbies and interests. Ironically, the same women who shame men for gaming will spend seven hours a day on social media. And the same men who shame other men for gaming will spend hours watching sports and gambling. We don’t care about gaming to impress women. We do it because it’s fun and it’s an easy way for us to connect with friends who don’t live near us. Even if you train relentlessly hard in the gym, build a business, or work 80 hours a week, everyone needs passive free time. So I see no difference between people who, in their free time, game, watch Netflix, or scroll on social media. But as I said earlier, any time spent not in servitude to women will be criticized now. And people wonder why men are refusing marriage and family life. It’s another form of slavery.

It's because (in all honesty) they were not nearly as economically self-sufficient as Ming dynasty China was. The same was also true for Songhai, which was as big as Western Europe. Public school has never been that great. Most boys for the past 100 years had success in life because once they developed age-appropriate reading skills they become autodidacts and read about what is interesting to them. Engineering, humanities, math, music, liturgy, etc.
