This is the best HS team I ever coached. As Fr, none of them trained. From this group, I learned the power of written goals and logs. I made them set goals in school, HOME, and athletics. Unusual for a HS coach but I was never a HS coach. I’m a life coach teaching success.

Here's the issue with this ban. 1 - It was silent. 2 - they allowed this athlete to continue to train alongside her collegiate teammates whilst under the ban. 3 - The athletes who rightfully won medals missed THEIR opportunities for recognition and sponsorship moments.

The AIU has banned Adaejah Hodge (BVI) for 2 years, from 28 August 2024 (with 7 months suspended, i.e. until 27 January 2026), for the Presence/Use of Prohibited Substances (GW501516 sulfone and GW501516 sulfoxide). DQ results since 28 August 2024.

2026 - A call to end silent bans. @WorldAthletics and the @aiu_athletics should make it 100% mandatory for every NGO to release all positive tests and provisional suspensions inside of a 30 day window of such result/action. Zero delay. Full public eye.

ABSOLUTELY FEARLESS 😱 Katy Zang didn’t leave ANY room for doubt in her second championship of the weekend, winning the #NBNationals mile in meet-record fashion to go with her two mile national record on Friday. Zang got right up on the pacer and never let up, clearing the field with a 4:35.02 run to break Sadie Engelhardt’s NBNI record from 2024 by over a second.

Two days after she won the NCAA 200m title, AIU announces that Adaejah Hodge tested positive for a banned substance at 2024 World U20s and was banned for 2 years. But 7 months of the sentence was suspended for providing "substantial assistance" so she has been eligible since Jan.
