I consider @Keir_Starmer a friend and I'm thinking of him on what must be a very tough day. Serving in public life is a tremendous privilege but politics can also be a harsh business. When the time comes for Keir to leave Downing Street, he can be proud of the contribution he has made to the country he loves and to the Labour Party that he led back to Government in 2024. I'm grateful for the opportunities we had to work together to strengthen our AUKUS defence and security partnership, support the brave people of Ukraine and keep children safe from the damage that social media can do. I wish Keir, Victoria and their children well with everything the future holds.

@HarryBailey When I joined we were building websites for a small toy maker & a cosmetics company. When I left we'd rebuilt the Australian Ballet's online ticketing platform & redesigned Australia's biggest every-day clothing brand. We'd barely doubled in headcount, to about ~25 people.

@HarryBailey It massively helps. I worked at an agency that regularly chased & won awards, and the client size skyrocketed within 18 months. The agency didn't scale to it's demands though, so there's pro's & con's it 😂

@mar15sa Especially bands. It's extremely rare that bands both stay afloat and viable, creatively & financially AND keep the same people along for the ride. Bands all apart SO easily so I'm amazed when they make it work for so long.

I’m always fascinated by people who are able to have a long career doing what they love surrounded by people they want to be around.

Being nap trapped by your newborn means googling random things. Today’s discovery is finding out the Sister Hazel band is not only still around but also has all the original members. There’s gotta be an interesting story behind that longevity.

@HarryBailey It's why working from home has been so beneficial. Night work was about no interruptions. Now I can block out my calendar, close Teams/Slack and just do work any time of day. Being in the office, for me, is constant distraction.
