Tony had passion to tell a story about what makes people fight up against fascism and is a perfectionist in all of his work. I don’t want or need him to have passion for Star Wars. Dave is unfortunately not a good writer. No passion makes up for that. I wish it was possible.

Disney need to mandate that, in order to work on a Star Wars project (whether it be a movie or show) you need to have watched all movies, and all of the Clone Wars and Rebels as a bare minimum.

Again we see that the key to media critics' hearts is centrally framed portal shots--lots and lots and lots of centrally framed portal shots. It's just like a Kubrick film! Clearly every one of these first three shots is an incredibly interesting, inspiring work of art, which will be discussed and admired for decades (perhaps even centuries!) to come. Now let's take a look at what that bum Lucas is doing in the fourth image. He doesn't even have the doorway in the exact center of the shot! What a moron! He's also got the main brat of the film running through it, but Lucas is too lazy to cut away from the wide shot, so the character doesn't even seem like he's supposed to be important. Sloppy filmmaking! Now remember, all the critics who tell you the prequels suck think that these three images from Andor are not only remarkable when considered in isolation, but also notably more appealing than this image from The Phantom Menace. And they're absolutely right, of course! These are top-class aesthetes we're talking about here, and the reason these beautifully sensitive souls have been controlling the discourse on Star Wars for the past 26 years is because they know exactly what they're talking about.
