Half the battle is accepting what you can’t change, the other half is up to you!

Another 49-yard touchdown throwback for 49 days until Maryland football ⏳ Here’s C.J. Brown breaking loose for a 49-yard touchdown run against NC State in 2013 🐢

Orioles have won 5 in a row! I repeat, the Orioles have won 5 in a row! This is not a drill!🚨🚨🚨

Sources: Former Browns center Ethan Pocic, who started 97 games in nine NFL seasons before tearing his Achilles last year, is signing a one-year deal with the Baltimore Ravens. Pocic is said to be healthy, and he will have a chance to replace former Ravens center Tyler Linderbaum, who signed with the Raiders.

Why everybody is wrong about Maryland this year 🐢👇 If you didn’t follow me last year & only looking @TerpsFootball past records, you’re missing the bigger picture. Last year they were a cash cow for us HC Mike Locksley quietly engineered one of the most cohesive rosters in the country. The Terps return 71% of its overall production—2nd nationally behind only Notre Dame (ever heard of them?) The public thinks they’re bottom tier Big Ten squad, but let’s dig in on why they’re wrong & why 7 wins is MAX value 1. Malik Washington- Big10’s best kept secret When you have a QB, you have a chance. And Maryland has a certified weapon in Sophomore Malik Washington Locksley didn’t just let him play; he completely restructured the offensive staff around him, hiring Clint Trickett as Offensive Coordinator. Trickett is a former FSU/West Virginia QB who coached under Lane Kiffin & spent years developing explosive, pro-style talent As a freshman, Washington was thrown into the fire & delivered: 2,963 Passing Yards, 17 TDs, 303 Rushing Yards w/ 4 scores on the ground. At 6’5”, 231 lbs, Malik is a physical powerhouse with a cannon arm who can run over linebackers on 3rd down which sets him above Big10 All-Time leading passer & former Terp Taulia Tagovaolia Under Trickett’s quarterback-centric system, his game is going to take a monumental leap this year & continue to build a career rivaling Taulia 2. The offense is absolutely loaded with explosive weapons You can’t sit back w/ 8 in coverage against this team. Maryland did an elite job of flanking Washington with size, speed, & proven Power 5 production: • The Track Team WRs 🏃🏿🏃🏿: They have a physical mismatch in FSU transfer Jordan Scott (6’7”, 220 lbs) alongside veteran Tennessee transfer Kaleb Webb (6'5"). To complement that size, they brought in Wyoming transfer Chris Durr Jr. & sophomore speedster Ryan Manning to shred defenses in the slot • The Dynamic Backfield: DeJuan Williams (who put up 927 all-purpose yards last season) splits carries w/ explosive sophomore Iverson Howard to give the Terps a physical, run-by-committee identity • The Tight End Safety Valves: Dorian Fleming (Georgia State transfer/All-Sun Belt) & Auburn transfer Preston Howard gives Malik 2 of the most athletic tight end targets in the Big Ten 3. A top-5 defensive production unit in the country While other Big10 programs are trying to teach new schemes to 20 different transfer portal guys, Maryland returns 74% of their defensive production—the 4th highest in the nation • The Breakout Star 🌟 Edge rusher Zahir Mathis is back. He was a Freshman All-American last year & is one of the most violent, twitchy pass rushers in the Big Ten (6.0 sacks, 8.5 TFLs, 35 TTs, 1 blocked kicked) • The Second-Level Leader: Senior LB Daniel Wingate (a projected high-round 2027 NFL Draft pick) turned down massive outside interest to return & anchor the defense • The No-Fly Zone DB Room 🙅♂️Veteran corners Dontay Joyner & Jamare Glasker return to anchor a secondary that just added lockdown Boston College transfer Amari Jackson at Nickel. They are long, fast, & highly experienced 4. The schedule path is incredibly favorable Terps have a highly manageable schedule that sets up for a hot start: Hampton, Va Tech, UCLA at home & a dismantled UCONN on the road a highly realistic 4-0/3-1start Rutgers, Illinois, Wisconsin & State Penn all have to travel to College Park. Only true "brutal" road games being Ohio State & USC BUT Maryland catches the Buckeyes in between Hawkeyes & Hoosiers. Terps also get USC week after Trojans travel to Bloomington- 2 great trap game spots THE PLAYS: 7+ wins +210 2.9U, 9+ wins +850 .6U FanDuel treating Maryland like a team without an identity. In reality, they are one of the most cohesive, experienced rosters in the Big10 primed for a breakout if they can clip a OSU/USC in a trap game
