The bathroom is a more logical place for a washing machine than the kitchen. It's already got plumbing, and that's where your dirty clothes end up after a shower. Other countries do it, can't understand why we don't.

Having a chinese with a big group of us tonight so I spent a large percentage of the day perusing the menu and meticulously curating and perfecting my order, only for everyone to just agree we’ll get a big general selection to share and is everyone ok with that

I genuinely dread the day I hear the news that Donald Trump has died, because I am going to cum so hard and I might be in like Tesco’s

Agents, The Division is now available on PlayStation 5 with enhanced performance at 60 FPS. This update brings smoother gameplay to the snow-covered streets of New York where it all began.

@TaylorDRhodes2A We have a mass shooting every 30 years. You have one every 30 days. Obviously if these terrorists can get a license in Australia for six hunting rifles, then what you have heard on Joe Rogan pod is a fucking lie. Guns aren’t outlawed they are regulated sensibly.

Australia has some of the strictest gun control laws in the world, and yet they don’t work. Evil finds a way. You must be able to protect yourself with equal force. Guns save lives.

@TaylorDRhodes2A This is the worst shooting in Australia 30 years. Yet in the USA there have been over 400 mass shootings THIS YEAR. More than 1 every day. Gun control does work.

@alrightfans @eugeneh84 I used to live around the corner from that place, and had a few nights there. It was unique. When did it shut down?

@infosec_fox The other day my wife was complaining her MacBook was being slow, I asked her if she’d defragged the drive as that could help. She had no idea what I was talking about. I Googled it, apparently it’s no longer a “thing” 😅

@marmite hey guys. Is it possible for Marmite to go bad? I've got a glass jar that's been open for a while but barely touched (best bef. Apr 2026) and it's pretty sour. I reckon it's a jar that I bought in the UK and brought back to Aus with me.

@FillsWhales @h1ghju1ce @fesshole You will not receive any more security updates from Microsoft. Are you just learning about this? Microsoft have been ramming it down Windows 10 users' throats for over 6 months.

Both mine & my other half's laptops are about to be obsolete due to being incompatible with Windows 11. We've talked about getting a one shared between us going forward. My near-20 yr collection of downloaded porn pics will officially be coming to an end, then.

@anon_opin 1: PLA filament is bio-degradable 2: I'm making very useful things - e.g. vacuum tool adapter, car storage bin, the exact size brush holder, a tooth brush mug for a large tube and my razor, a projector stand, neat craft knife, a TV riser ... absolutely loads of useful stuff.

@KocksTony @anon_opin Those Nokia phones didn't do anything compared to smartphones of today. They had an LCD screen and calls and texts. That's it. No constant Internet and a bunch of apps always connected.

@anon_opin I think Apple need to find out who supplied batteries to Nokia and use them in their phones. Those batteries lasted weeks on a full charge.

Apple should not make thinner iPhones. They should go thicker, eliminate the camera bump, and include a bigger battery.

My boss shared a 47 page doc he wrote. I corrected his spelling errors and added the comment "The maximum number of quarters is four" to every mention of "fifth quarter". There were 23 mentions of the idiotic phrase. Yes, I have just accepted a new job elsewhere.
